"The Boys" is based on a comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It concerns a group of vigilantes, called "The Boys" who are opposed to the establishment superheroes who work in a sort of military-entertainment complex, crime fighting and making movies, for a company called Vought. The chief superheroes are included in a group called the Seven. The series starts by following newbie Seven member Starlight, and new recruit to "The Boys", Hugh Campbell. A complication is that they fall in love. We discover that the superheroes are not all good people, and that they have been given their abilities through pharmaceutical intervention, using "Compound V", which Vought developed.

2. Personification of Dreams imprisoned by a magus. Chaos ensues.

Answer: The Sandman

Based on Neil Gaiman's classic comic book, "The Sandman" follows Morpheus, aka Dream, the ruler of dreams and nightmares. He is captured and imprisoned by a magus for a century. Bad things happen - nightmares escape, the sleeping sickness affects thousands. When he escapes, he has to locate three key artifacts, his bag of sand, ruby and "helm" (helmet/mask), to put things right. This involves many trials including visiting hell. Then a person who is a vortex in time is located and threatens mass destruction.

"Mare of Easttown" was created by Brad Ingelsby and set in a Philadelphia suburb. Marianne "Mare" Sheehan is a detective who used to be a local hero because of her high school basketball prowess. A young woman is found murdered and people doubt if Mare can handle the case, because she has failed to solve a recent disappearance and assumed murder. She also has a lot of personal and family issues. She is assigned a young male partner against her wishes.

Russell T. Davies's "It's a Sin" follows the lives of a group of gay men and their friends between 1981 and 1991. The misreporting of the media and unfeeling treatment by society is shown in all its shameful details. But it is also a life-affirming, and funny story.

Allegedly, Charles, his wife Diana, and a lecturer called Tecwen Whittock, had conspired to defraud the program by leading Charles to the correct answer through a system of coughs.
