7. What forced the cancellation of the 'Adventures of Superman' TV series of 1952-1958, starring George Reeves?

Answer: the deaths of two stars

Before the 1959 season, not one but two actors playing important roles in 'Adventures of Superman' had died unexpectedly. First was the man who played 'Daily Planet' editor-in-chief Perry White, John Hamilton, who died suddenly of heart failure at age 71.

Then George Reeves was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head at age 45. Though at the time the death was ruled a suicide, friends and colleagues such as Alan Ladd, Gig Young, and Rory Calhoun believed it was murder, and the controversy continued into the 21st century.

The producers had hoped to replace Hamilton with another actor to play Perry White's brother, but the death of the actor in the title role, Superman himself, was a bigger challenge. There was talk of renaming the very successful series "Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen", which would center the stories on the cub reporter played by Jack Larson and use stock footage of Reeves as Superman and stunt doubles where necessary. Ultimately, this was scrapped, and the series was cancelled.

10. On the television show "The Big Bang Theory," which of these individuals does not have a restraining order against Sheldon Cooper?

Answer: James Earl Jones

In the seventh season episode 'The Convention Conundrum, ' James Earl Jones and Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) hit it off and have quite a few adventures together. These adventures included a sushi bar, taking a ride on a ferris wheel at a carnival, singing karaoke at a strip bar, going to a sauna, and pranking Carrie Fisher by ringing her doorbell and running away.

It appeared that James Earl Jones enjoyed Sheldon's company very much and a restraining order was not a concern. However, with Stan Lee, Bill Nye, Leonard Nimoy, and Carl Sagan, things did not turn out so well for Sheldon, and restraining orders were filed against him.
