Answer: She will prioritize Lucatiel

Even if the player wears the Red Eye Ring, they will find pulling aggro away from Lucatiel to be almost impossible. Though this makes the fight itself easier to win, as the player finds themselves being targeted much less than usual, it also makes completing Lucatiel's questline harder.

The goal to finish this questline is to defeat three bosses while keeping Lucatiel alive, and this is much harder if the boss is prioritizing her as much as the Lost Sinner does. For an inexplicable reason, no other boss, including others Lucatiel can be summoned for, works like this.

Answer: Weapon durability depletes faster

When attacking Lud, melee weapons will deplete durability at 2.5x the usual rate. Considering Lud is later joined by Zallen, the King's Pet who has the same mechanic, it is likely a weapon which does not have particularly good durability will outright break during this fight. Or, at the very least, it will require tedious maintenance via the usage of Repair Powder or the Repair sorcery on the player's end.

Answer: Fire and Poison

If targeted by a Fire based attack, be it a spell or Fire off of a melee weapon, Mytha will take a whopping 240% extra damage than the attack would usually do. The next closest weakness is a tie between Giant Lord and the Smelter Demon found at Iron Passage, as they both take 160% extra damage from Dark based attacks. Meanwhile, Mytha will be healed for the damage damage that any Poison based attack would've done to her, making her the only boss in the game claiming to essentially 'Drain' Poison.

Answer: Two different introduction cutscenes

If the player has progressed the game to the point where Nashandra could be fought, they can earn two different introductory cutscenes. The first would be achieved right after defeating Throne Watcher and Throne Defender. Doing this makes Nashandra's introductory cutscene showcase her entering the boss area through the fog door, telling the player they've proven themselves to her, and that they should be "One with the Dark." Before the fight begins.

The second introductory cutscene comes from if the player loses to Nashandra, quits out of the game or flees her boss fight, or if they'd already defeat the Throne Duo before progressing the game enough to allow Nashandra to appear. Either way, she would go on to be the only boss up to "Elden Ring" with two different introductory cutscenes.

Answer: Blue Sentinels

Behind Old Dragonslayer is the Cathedral of Blue, tended to by Blue Knight Targray. In order to join the Blue Sentinels, the player must first either join the Way of Blue covenant and help another player defeat a boss, or they must be summoned by a member of the Blue Sentinels and help that player defeat a boss. Alternatively, picking up the Token of Fidelity found at No Man's Wharf and bringing it to Targray will grant access to Blue Sentinels.

Answer: Dragonslayer Greatbow

This all time classic, wielded by the belovedly irritating Silver Knights of Anor Londo in "Dark Souls 1," is without question the most powerful bow in the entire game in both games. Uniquely dealing extra damage to dragons, this destructive bow unfortunately comes with steep requirements of 30 in Strength and 20 in Dexterity and it demands usage of Petrified Dragon Bones to upgrade, but for players in need of a quality ranged option, this is doubtlessly worth it.

Answer: The player has more health than he does

Even at the bare minimum of 7 Vigor, the player has 826 health. Even this absolutely dwarfs the magus' pathetic 542 HP, making up roughly half the damage the player will need to do in order to overcome the Prowling Magus and Congregation boss fight.

Answer: It doesn't need to be beaten to clear the area

The boss room for Royal Rat Authority is pretty much crammed to the side of the Doors of Pharros, and a player in a hurry doesn't have to give it the time of day. However, if the player did not fight Royal Rat Vanguard, then defeating Royal Rat Authority would be needed if they wanted to join the Rat King Covenant. Since this Covenant gives pretty much entirely useless rewards, you could be forgiven for not wanting to bother.

Answer: The boss' hairstyle

Out of the entire Vanguard, there is one rat who must be slain to win the fight. This boss rat is easily distinguishable by it's large Mohawk it styles it's hair with. Other than that, the boss rat has the exact same moveset and non-hair related aesthetics.

Answer: Yahim

They are Alessia, Rhiece and Yahim. It isn't terribly important to memorize which sentinel is which unless you're the masterful YouTuber NGPlus, who completed a very impressive challenge run featuring him defeating every boss in the game in (near) perfect alphabetical order.

Answer: They were betrothed

Tark suspects that the Duke of Tseldora bringing Freya to Brightstone Cave Tseldora and tampering with the Old Great One Soul took a toll on Najka's mental health, driving her mad and causing her to become hostile towards Tark. The lore implies that the tandem are refugees of the long deceased Seath the Scaleless, but the Duke of Tseldora's insistence in trying to resurrect the legendary dragon has caused this mental affliction magically. Tark believes Najka cannot be 'brought back' at this point.

Answer: His chest

In the game's lore, it is said that St Yorgh confronted Sinh and, in the ensuing conflict, Yorgh's legendary spear was lodged into Sinh's chest. The spear can be seen during the fight, and attack the area it is lodged in will do extra damage. Attacking this area enough will eventually stagger Sinh for several seconds, allowing for uninterrupted attacking, respite to heal, or opportunity to buff.

Answer: No

At chest-high, he will virtually immediately target the player with a dash attack. The player must be vigilant to avoid being conditioned to deal with just this speed, however. If Alonne holds the sword leg-high, he will greatly delay the follow up attack enough to where an immediate dodge roll responding to a chest-high telegraph will cause them to get hit by the delay of the leg-high telegraph.

Answer: Bonewheel Skeletons

In "Dark Souls 1", Bonewheel Skeletons were well known for being able to shred an entire health bar almost immediately, and unavoidably in some cases. They were massively nerfed coming over to "Dark Souls 2" and did an almost 180 degree flip, as in this game, they are not threatening in the slightest. For some players, this is a good thing, as the satisfaction of potential revenge can be felt more easily due to this.

Answer: It was their first ever three-phase boss

At roughly 66% health, the Smelter Demon will enter its second phase, where it will now passively damage anyone coming into melee damage of it. At half health, it's deadly third phase arrives, as it will perform the seppuku animation with its sword, making its weapon much, much deadlier.

Answer: Delays it's attacks more

Players expecting a complete carbon copy will be taken off guard when their dodge rolls that worked on the original Smelter Demon come up early and fail against the blue variant. This can be especially deadly during third phase, as the blue Smelter Demon's power will touch scary levels here, and failing to dodge an attack could be lethal.

Answer: It appears in Brightsone Cava Tseldora

On the first playthrough, the player will simply travel through Brightstone Cave Tseldora to eventually meet The Duke's Dear Freya at the end. On NG+ and beyond, however, The Duke's Dear Freya will appear to ambush the player just before they'd arrive upon the Prowling Magus & Congregatiin boss fight. Damage done to it here does indeed carry over to its formal boss fight, so the player is greatly encouraged to get some hits in before the massive spider flees.

Answer: Prattling Pate

Pate will leave his summon sign if the player has obtained the White Sign Soapstone from him. This is done by simply falling into his trap, escaping it, then later approaching him after doing so. He wields a Tower Shield to go with a Winged Spear, very similarly to Patches in his countless appearances across the franchise.

Answer: The ballistae can friendly fire

If you shoot your teammate with the ballista, they are as good as gone. Each shot will deal a base of 1,000 damage and five shots come out, rapidly to the point of being impossible to react to. Even with the sturdiest armor possible and a 99 in Vigor, surviving more than two shots from a ballista is impossible.

As such, if fighting The Pursuer with a friend and trying to use the ballista, the player must be extremely mindful of the position of their friend.

Answer: Arms

Each arm will yield a Pharros Lockstone if disassembled. The Rotten will eventually regrow these limbs, but while they're gone, the player is at much less risk directly engaging him.
