"Super Smash Bros." is a crossover of mostly Nintendo icons, with a swathe of third party characters. "Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl" is similarly a crossover of a bunch of Nickelodeon icons.

Answer: Snake

Ekans from "Pokemon" is 'snake' spelt backwards. It carries a light purple skin that becomes significantly darker when evolving into Arbok, spelled 'kobra' backwards.

Meanwhile, Solid Snake from "Metal Gear Solid" is the franchise's protagonist. He is a master of espionage, so differences in his appearance are usually not visible... until it's too late for his enemies.

"Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" is a Nintendo Switch entry into the franchise. "Kingdom Hearts" is itself a franchise which has seen multiple entries.

"Madden NFL 2013" was the last game in the franchise for well over ten years that would allow the player to create their own NFL team. Disappointingly, this featured was removed in the 2014 version.

In "Pokemon", creating teams is a central mechanic of most mainstream entries into the franchise.

Despite "Madden" surrounding professional sports, you never actually do enter a gym in any of the games. Yet, you do in many "Pokemon" games.

Answer: "Story of Seasons" and "Dreaming Canvas"

"Story of Seasons" is a cozy farm management/life simulator franchise of games. There is never any opportunity to kill anything in these games. "Dreaming Canvas" is a puzzle game with no action whatsoever.

"Dreams" is a create-athon game, where the vast premise of the game is playing through levels of a video game that other players have made. There are many, many functions that can possibly exist, and killing is one of them. "Disney Dreamlight Valley" does qualify, as it is a cozy, Disney-themed life simulator/management type game. However, it was paired with "Dreams" as an option.

"Spiritfarer"'s entire premise is eventually guiding a bunch of people to their eventual passing. As well, "7 Days To Die" involves killing undead and human alike in droves.

Finally, "Predecessor" and "League of Legends" are both MOBAs. There is lots and lots of killing in these games.

Answer: Kirby and Donkey Kong

In "Nightmare in Dreamland", Kirby destroys Nightmare, whose ensuing explosion wipes out a massive chunk of the moon. Later, in "Super Star Ultra", Kirby is forced to try to restrain the moon and sun from making contact, and destroys both in the process.

In "Donkey Kong Country Returns", Donkey Kong straight-up punches the moon right out of orbit.

Answer: Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man

Most of Sonic's body is blue. One of his nicknames is "The Blue Blur". It's a similar deal with the blue-suited Mega Man, who frequently goes by the moniker "Blue Bomber".

"Pokemon Black" launched in 2011 and was part of the franchise's fifth generation. Meanwhile, "Call of Duty: Black Ops" is a series that has seen several entries and which debuted in 2007.

In "This is the Police", "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment" and all of the "Ace Attorney" games, you play as a generally good guy trying to take down bad guys, just like "Police Simulator".

In "Postal", however, you go on a mindless killing spree where everyone, man, woman, civilian, police officer and onward, becomes a target. This extremely cringey game has only the sole objective of embarking on enormous town-wide shooting sprees, with the only end goal seemingly being satisfying an extremely deluded, masochistic person.

Answer: Miles

"Ace Attorney" has Miles Edgeworth while "Sonic the Hedgehog" has Miles "Tails" Prower. Both are beloved icons in their respective communities. Tails definitely plays the role of a sidekick to Sonic more than Edgeworth does to protagonist Phoenix Wright, but Edgeworth is one of Phoenix's closest friends just as Tails is to Sonic.
