SMB is a common acronym for "Super Mario Bros." One of the most well-known video games in the world, it was bundled with the Nintendo Entertainment System. Koji Kondo provided the music for the game, and has composed the music for many of the other games in the Mario series.

"Sonic the Hedgehog" was programmed by Yuji Naka, but the Sonic and Dr. Robotnik (known as Eggman in Japan) characters were actually designed by Naoto Oshima. The Badniks were the robots created by Dr. Robotnik found in the game. In the original "Sonic the Hedgehog", animals were released from the robots after Sonic defeated the enemies.

"Devil May Cry" was published by Capcom for the PlayStation 2. It began as another entry in the "Resident Evil" series but ended up becoming the beginning of a new franchise for Capcom. Dante is the main character and Mundus is the final boss in "Devil May Cry".

The Devil Trigger is a gauge that allows Dante to attack with more power. Pyramid Head appears in "Silent Hill 2", Nemesis appears in "Resident Evil 3", and Arkham is a character in "Devil May Cry 3".

"Skies of Arcadia" first made its appearance on the Sega Dreamcast, and was then re-released with additional content for the Nintendo GameCube as "Skies of Arcadia: Legends" in 2003. Vyse, Aika, and Fina make up the main characters in your party as you travel the world in your airship, and there is a spot for a rotating fourth party member. Galcian, being the one of the main antagonists in the game, never fights alongside you.

"Super Smash Bros. Melee" was developed by HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo GameCube. There are 25 playable Nintendo characters available in the game; 11 of them are unlocked for play only after achieving certain in-game goals. The game features several different modes of play, trophies of Nintendo characters and items to collect, and the Home Run Contest, where you attack a sandbag with a baseball bat to launch it for distance. Waluigi appears in other Nintendo games, such as "Mario Party" and "Mario Power Tennis".

"Beyond Good & Evil" was the brainchild of Michel Ancel, who also created "Rayman". The game sold poorly at its release but garnered plenty of acclaim from reviewers. Jade and Pey'j are the protagonists of the game, which centers around uncovering a conspiracy.

"Donkey Kong Country" was developed by Rareware and was the second best-selling Super Nintendo game of all-time (behind "Super Mario World"). King K. Rool, the game's final boss, steals Donkey Kong's banana hoard at the start of the game.

"The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" has the player collect three pendants to reach the Master Sword and Hyrule Castle, which opens a portal to the Dark World. The Book of Mudora is an item needed to read the Hylian language and it allows you to access different areas in the game. Chris Houlihan won a Nintendo Power Magazine contest and a special room was created in the game that featured a number of blue rupees and a message explaining that this was the Chris Houlihan Room.
