"Pokémon Scarlet" and "Pokémon Violet" are two games in the "Pokémon" series that mark the beginning of "Generation IX". Released on Nintendo Switch on 18 November 2022, these games introduced players to the new Paldea region, inspired by the Iberian Peninsula.

Unlike previous games, "Scarlet" and "Violet" offer a completely open-world experience, allowing players to explore the Paldea region without the constraints of linear progression.
