Police Scanner Codes Trivia Quiz
Some calls in "This is the Police 2" require better cops, some calls aren't so serious. See if you can match the code to the crime here, in this game for the PS4, XBox One, PC and various mobile devices.

Responding to an Assault will vary in danger greatly, mostly based on the setting. It should be remembered that, ideally, the player isn't just trying to take the suspect down: they're trying to minimize collateral damage, too.
For example, a 5-30 is had early in the game where a man gropes and then begins physically abusing a school teacher. The setting is a school, which is fairly small and self-contained. As such, this specific situation will only require one or two decent cops at most.
Not much later, another 5-30 occurs. This time, it's at a large restaurant. The complication here is that a number of innocent civilians are standing by, so the player risks collateral damage if they order their cops to just rush in with their guns blazing.
2. 5-69
Answer: Suspicious Individual
Suspicious Individual and Suspicious Item reports are difficult to deal with, for two reasons. One, they have the highest False Alarm chance of the entire game. But balancing this is that they also have a weirdly high lethality chance, meaning that civilians are almost definitely going to die if the player just assumes the call to be a False Alarm, but it isn't.
Thankfully, Suspicious reports do not require very high Professionalism, so even if it's a False Alarm, the player is likely to only waste time for one or two officers. This usually makes the minor risk of wasting time worth it, as it is preferred to the risk of civilian death.
3. 5-64
Answer: Drug Manufacturing
This call has the single highest False Alarm rate in the game, with an exact 2/3 chance of being so. Humorously, if a False Alarm 5-64 takes place on specifically Sycamore Street, it will be an old woman who mistook cake batter for fentanyl. I'm not a drug expert by any means, but I really hope everyone taking this quiz can reliably tell the difference between cake batter and illegal drugs.
4. 5-61
Answer: Smuggling
Smuggling can be committed in the form of drugs, gun related products or, very very rarely, people! Depending on the location, the player should possibly be prepared to send several officers to deal with this one.
5. 5-57
Answer: Bomb Threat
Like with Suspicious Individual, but at least making more contextual sense, Bomb Threats have a high lethality chance if improperly responded to or ignored. They also tend to require the highest Professionalism to properly deal with, but also have a very high False Alarm chance too.
As such, the player would be in a bind if they devoted half their squad or more to what ends up being a False Alarm. However, they'll be in even more of a bind if said Bomb Threat is real and people get blown up.
6. 5-11
Answer: Hit and Run
Unless the player sends a needlessly excessive force to respond to this, Hit And Run calls usually involve decision-based roleplay from the player to decide if they succeed at apprehending the criminal or not. Failure, this time, will rarely result in any death, instead usually causing the victim, responding officer, or both, to be injured instead.
7. 5-13
Answer: Driving Under the Influence
The player absolutely must, under all circumstances, refrain from sending an officer, who themselves is drunk, on a call to apprehend another drunk driver. This should probably go without saying, but doing this poses a high lethality chance for both the officer and criminal, and for obvious reasons. Things can get worse if the player sends a drunk officer along with any other officers, as this can result in all officers getting killed in an accident.
8. 5-18
Answer: Destruction of Property
Interestingly, in every single 5-18 in the entire game, the player's success rate is at its highest when sending an officer or officers with high Stealth ratings. Ideally, the player should include silent utilities as well, like a baton or taser.
9. 5-29
Answer: Suicide Threat
For the best chance of success, the player should send officers with high Negotiation stats to any 5-29 they encounter. Unsurprisingly, failure in 5-29s does not expose the officer to any risk, instead with a straight up 100% lethality chance for the suspect upon failure.
10. CODE I
Answer: Investigation
This refers to a situation, in which the crime already took place and the offender fled the scene. The player is advised to send officers with high Intelligence scores to investigate the scene, which can allow the player to figure out where the offender fled to.
