Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Kagutsuchi's Blood

Answer: Staff of Fire

This is the name of the upgraded version of the Staff of Fire. Uniquely, it gains a secondary attachment called the Sekhmet's Vigor, a projectile capable of reviving allies at a distance.

It is worth noting that this weapon is not capable of dealing infinite damage. The damage output on a point blank shot is truly staggering, as a point blank shot will one shot zombies until round 69. Once round 70 hits, this weapon will not be capable of one shotting a zombie at all.
2. Ull's Arrow

Answer: Staff of Ice

This is the upgraded version of the Ice Staff. This weapon has the highest raw damage output of any non-infinite damage dealing weapon in all of both "Black Ops 2" and "Black Ops 3", as this staff will one shot a zombie up until a ridiculous round 112. It also makes absolute mincemeat out of Panzersoldats, as charged shots will suspend the Panzersoldat midair while damaging it simultaneously.

These factors combined generally make the Staff of Ice, and Ull's Arrow, the preferred staff of the four for high round pushes.
3. Kimat's Bite

Answer: Staff of Lightning

This is the name of the upgraded Staff of Lightning. Unfortunately, this staff holds the weakest raw power of the four, as it is only capable of one shotting a zombie until a modest round 40. For reference, the SVU-AS sniper rifle and Barrett M82A1, when Pack-a-Punched, can one shot a zombie until round 41.

The advantage this staff wields is that it is technically easier to hit an entire horde of 24 with a single shot, as the Lightning chains off of one zombie into the next, and continues to chain until no zombies remain. The Staff of Fire, at the very least, definitely cannot compete with the Staff of Lightning here.

That said, it is easy to use the Staff of Ice to camp in a corner with, where you can hit a whole horde just fine. So the Staff of Lightning, unfortunately, is generally the weakest choice overall of the four staves.
4. Boreas' Fury

Answer: Staff of Wind

This staff is the staff of choice for players who like fast paced playstyles. It technically can deal infinite damage, making it so that its raw power outclasses its brethren. The only problem is, it must use a charged shot to deal infinite damage, and its range is fairly poor, forcing users to get really close to a zombie horde for maximum efficiency. It will also burn through ammo very quickly doing this.

The debate of which staff is ultimately best generally comes down to Ice vs Wind. Ice has a massive upper hand until round 112, but Wind has an argument as the better of the two from 112 onward; the Wind can technically one shot zombies forever, whereas the Ice completely loses the ability to do so after round 112.

In "Black Ops 3", Gobblegums generally make it so that Wind wins out in the end, as getting ammunition is far easier in this game.

However, even then, if you were planning, say, to only go to round 100 (or round 112) as a goal, you would be far, far better off with the Staff of Ice regardless of which game you are playing.
5. Get a piece by killing a Panzersoldat

Answer: Staff of Fire

The Panzersoldat can arrive as early as round 8, though it will not appear at all until the player opens up the Excavation Site.

Whenever it appears, the very first time the player kills a Panzersoldat, it will drop one of three pieces used to construct the Staff of Fire.
6. Get a piece by powering all six generators on Origins

Answer: Staff of Fire

Players will naturally want to turn on all six generators, as this is a requirement in order to access Pack-a-Punch. As an added reward for doing so, a piece of the Staff of Fire will be earned.
7. Get a piece for shooting down a zombie-piloted plane on Origins

Answer: Staff of Fire

As soon as all six generators are powered, from that point on, any time a player picks up a Zombie Blood power up, they can look in the sky and spot an orange colored plane. Using any gun with enough range to hand, the player can shoot this plane down. After that, they must track down where the plane landed. Here, they will find a piece of the Staff of Fire.

It is worth noting that the plane is only visible if two conditions are met: all six power generators must be active, and the player must be in the middle of a Zombie Blood power up. If one of the generators is inactive, or if the player is not amidst a Zombie Blood, they will not be able to see or shoot the plane down.
8. All three pieces are found by entering the three giant robots' heads in Origins

Answer: Staff of Wind

This can be a very treacherous affair, though it is at least very conceptually easy. The player must figure out which of the two robots' feet soles are lighting up. Once this is done, the player must shoot the soles to open up an opening for them, then get stomped on by the robot in question.

Ordinarily, getting stomped on by one of the robots will immediately kill the player, Juggernog or not. However, if the player acts swiftly and shoots out the correct foot sole, they will not be killed when stomped on, and can instead make their way to the head of the robot to pick up their part.

It is not possible to shoot out a foot sole of these robots unless standing directly underneath their foot right as it is about to stomp down. So, players must be extremely swift to enter the robot's patrol path, wait until just before they are about to be stomped on, then shoot the sole out. If they are too late, they die. If they are too early, the sole will not be properly shot out. It has about a three second window, so it can be quite tight.
9. Get all three pieces for riding the Mark IV Tank in Origins and doing a little bit of platforming

Answer: Staff of Lightning

The Mark IV Tank brings the player around the entire map. As it does, it briefly passes by some parts which are only accessible via jumping off the Tank with good timing.

Generally, unless two or more players are riding the Tank, it will require multiple trips around the map. It is possible for those who are truly elite at platforming and have absolutely perfect timing to do it all in one go, however.
10. On Origins, pieces can be found when utilizing dig spots when the weather is snowing

Answer: Staff of Ice

The weather changes every single round on Origins. If you are not trying to get the Staff of Ice, this is merely cosmetic. If you are, however, you must pay sharp attention to this. When the weather is raining or dormant entirely, it is impossible to find Staff of Ice parts. All three become accessible on rounds 2, 4, 10 and then randomly after that, as the weather will start to snow.

Unfortunately, this is the one Staff which is subject to RNG. There are a lot of dig sites around the map, so players will seldom be stonewalled for long. However, at absolute maximum, you only have a 22% chance to receive a Staff of Ice part on interacting with a dig site. Players may need to be patient with this one.
