Bob Weir was a guitarist for and founder of one of the world's most respected and longest-lived rock bands, the Grateful Dead. Weir met Jerry Garcia in Palo Alto, became friends and decided to form a rock band as they enjoyed playing guitar with each other. The Grateful Dead started out as The Warlocks at first and Bob Weir was the rhythm guitarist. I still find watching Bob Ross very soothing as he demonstrates for TV audiences how to paint pictures, mostly scenic exteriors. His voice has a benevolent hypnotic quality to it.
