Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What was Emmett's last name in the MUSICAL?

Answer: Forrest

It was Forrest in the musical. In the film, his name was Emmett Richmond. Luke Wilson played Emmett in the movie, and Christian Borle originated the role of Emmett on Broadway.

Emmett was an assistant to Professor Callahan. He graduated from Harvard a few years before Elle and knew the ropes, so he attempted to help her through the difficult courses.
2. What was Enid's last name in the MOVIE?

Answer: Wexler

Her name in the movie was Enid Wexler, but they changed it to "Hoopes" for the musical. Natalie Joy Johnson played Enid in the musical, and Meredith Scott Lynn played Enid on screen.

Enid was a student at Harvard Law. She is a total hippie and was very much for women's rights.
3. What did we learn about Bruiser in "Legally Blonde 2"?

Answer: That he was gay.

Elle was paged by "The Paws that Refreshes: A Doggy Day Spa" and found out that Bruiser was actually gay. A weird twist, but expected for this film!

Bruiser was played by "Moonie" in both "Legally Blonde" films, and he was played by "Chico" on Broadway.
4. In the musical, what did Elle do for Emmett to thank him for his help?

Answer: Bought him a new suit.

Elle took Emmett to a department store, where the song "Take it Like a Man" took place. Eventually they found the perfect suit. Elle then informed Emmett that it was a gift, payment for helping her through law school.
5. Who played Professor Callahan in the MOVIE?

Answer: Victor Garber

Victor Garber has starred in other movies such as "Godspell", "Annie", "Titanic" and "Tuck Everlasting". He can also be noted for his appearances in "Alias" and "Eli Stone".

Robin Williams was just a random actor I put in the quiz, Mark Holsburg was just a name I made up, and Michael Rupert played Professor Callahan on Broadway.
6. Did Laura Bell Bundy make an appearance in "Legally Blonde 2"?

Answer: No - she had no affiliation with "Legally Blonde" at the time.

Laura Bell Bundy did not get cast in "Legally Blonde: The Musical" on Broadway until early 2006. "Legally Blonde 2" was made three years prior to that.

Laura Bell Bundy originated the role of Elle Woods on Broadway, for "Legally Blonde: The Musical".
7. What made Elle think Enrique is gay in the MUSICAL?

Answer: The "bend and snap" didn't work.

Elle firmly believed that the "bend and snap" was infallible to any straight man, so when Enrique didn't react to it, she was immediately convinced that he was gay.

In the film, she was tapping her foot impatiently and he told her "don't tap your last season shoes at me". I made up the other two options.
8. Who played Chutney in the MOVIE?

Answer: Linda Cardellini

Chutney was Brooke Windham's step-daughter, and the one responsible for Brooke's husband's murder.

Linda Cardellini can be noted for her performances in the "Scooby-Doo" movies as Velma, and for her performance as Cassie in "Brokeback Mountain".

Jessica Simpson had no involvement in the film, and neither did Barbara Bach or Stephanie Fittro. Stephanie Fittro did play Chutney on Broadway for "Legally Blonde: The Musical" though.
9. Who took on the role of Elle Woods after Laura Bell Bundy left "Legally Blonde: The Musical" on Broadway?

Answer: Bailey Hanks

Bailey Hanks was a contestant on the reality TV show "The Search for Elle Woods", where the makers of "Legally Blonde: The Musical" tried to find the perfect Elle to take Laura Bell Bundy's place. Bailey won, obviously.

Autumn Hurlbert and Cassie Silva were also contestants on the show, and Reese Witherspoon played Elle in the movies.
10. Did Luke Wilson reprise his role in "Legally Blonde 2"?

Answer: Yes

Luke Wilson was in both "Legally Blonde" and "Legally Blonde 2". He also had a role in the movie "Blonde Ambition" - seems like this guy is being typecast.
