Answer: Beavers

Daggett and Norbert are the titular "The Angry Beavers" which debuted on Nickelodeon in 1997. The two are brothers who very much have a love-hate relationship. Norbert is older by a few minutes. He is yellowish in color. Daggett is the younger brother who is dark brown.

The two fight constantly which often delves into name calling and hurt feelings. Typically, their fights lead to bigger issues. The two usually make up by the time each episode was completed.
2. Ramona Quimby is a young girl from Portland and the creation of which children's author?

Answer: Beverly Cleary

Ramona is perhaps Cleary's most famous character. She is a mischievous but well-intentioned young girl who rarely gets in trouble. The stories which focus on Ramona often have a moral or life lesson attached to them as the main theme. She first appeared in the Henry Huggins series in 1950 but debuted as a main character in "Beezus and Ramona" in 1955.
3. Portrayed by Zooey Deschanel, Jessica Day is a Portland native who starts a new life in Los Angeles on which sitcom?

Answer: New Girl

"New Girl" starred Zooey Deschanel as the quirky oddball Jessica Day. Jessica worked as a teacher in Los Angeles who is forced out of her apartment when her boyfriend cheats on her. She moves in as the titular new girl into an apartment occupied by three men, Nick, Schmidt and Winston (Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield and LaMorne Morris).
4. Salem, Oregon is the birthplace of which Vietnam War veteran, felon, mental patient and main character of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"?

Answer: Randle McMurphy

Randle McMurphy was created by Ken Kesey in the 1962 novel "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". He was portrayed by Jack Nicholson in the 1975 film adaptation. Randle is convicted of various crimes and tricks the system into sending him into a mental institution in an attempt to have an easier sentence as opposed to serving time in jail.

However, the asylum is run by the evil Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher). Randle and Ratched face off in a series of games for power, and although she appears to lose initially, the nurse has a few tricks up her sleeve.
5. True or False: The Simpsons live in Springfield, Oregon just like their creator Matt Groening.

Answer: False

6. Which of the following is NOT one of the six brothers of Adam Pontipee in the musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"?

Answer: Donald

Adam is the oldest of seven brothers, each named alphabetically after a Bible character: Adam, Benjamin, Caleb, Daniel, Ephraim, Frank and Gideon, living in Oregon Territory. Milly teaches the brothers manners which they then use to try and find wives of their own.
7. Dipper and Mabel pines are two preteens who spend the summer with their uncle Grunkle Stan on which Oregon-based animated series?

Answer: Gravity Falls

Gravity Falls is both the name of the show and the fictional town where Dipper and Mabel spend the summer. Dipper and Mabel are twins from California but are forced to spend the summer in Oregon with their Grunkle Stan and his bizarre tourist trap. Gravity Falls is home to a number of strange, supernatural occurrences that Dipper and Mabel investigate. Dipper is voiced by Jason Ritter while Kristen Schaal voices Mabel. Grunkle Stan is voiced by Alex Hirsch.
8. "Life is Strange" is a video game set in Arcadia Bay, Oregon. The main character is Max, a high school girl with which ability?

Answer: Time travel

When Max Caulfield starts having visions of future events, she discovers she has the ability to travel throughout time. She does this, first, to save a fellow student from being murdered. Later, as more and more strange events keep occurring, Max must travel throughout time to discover what happened to her friend Rachel.

However, time traveling has its drawbacks as it can create alternate universes, some of which are worse than the real world.
9. Nick Burkhardt is a Portland homicide detective who can perceive supernatural beings on which television show?

Answer: Grimm

Nick is played by Dave Giuntoli. In the pilot, Nick learns that he is a Grimm, a line of monster hunters who can see supernatural creatures when other people cannot. His ability makes him an expert in crime solving and reading other people. It also causes some tension with his girlfriend Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) from whom Nick is keeping his powers a secret.
10. What is the last name of Coraline, the little girl who moves to Ashland with her family in the children's dark film "Coraline"?

Answer: Jones

Coraline Jones is a little girl originally from Michigan whose family relocates to Oregon. Coraline is mostly left to herself to explain her bizarre new apartment complex. Coraline receives a doll that looks like her except it has button eyes. After finding an entrance to the Other World, Coraline enters it and discovers another universe much like her own but everyone has button eyes. Coraline likes her Other Parents better than her own parents and starts spending more time there despite warnings from the neighbors.
