"Family Guy" is set in Quahog, a suburban town outside Providence. Peter is the buffoonish patriarch of the Griffins. His wife Lois is a stereotypical housewife with her own vices. Meg is the oldest child and only daughter of Peter and Lois. She is often ridiculed and the brunt of the family's jokes. Chris is the middle child and is portrayed as unintelligent and clueless about most things. Stewie is the evil baby who is obsessed with violence and world domination.

The Griffins also have a talking dog named Brian.
2. By what name is General Joseph Colton of Central Falls, Rhode Island better known as?

Answer: G.I. Joe

General Joseph Colton was the original G.I. Joe when the franchise debuted in 1964. Colton was a graduate of West Point and Green Beret. He was an expert marksman and was considered one of the best men in the U.S. Military. He was tasked with creating an elite fighting unit and it was then when he earned the name G.I. Joe.

He retired in the 1980s, though remained active in military planning and strategy.

The Howells were played by Jim Backus and Natalie Schafer. They were stereotypical millionaires from New England. Where they live is never quite clear as many different places were mentioned but Mr. Howell frequently mentioned living in Newport, Rhode Island.

The Howells were spoiled but found luxury living on the deserted island anyway. Mrs. Howell seemed to have a full wardrobe with her. Mrs. Howell was frequently called Lovey by her husband and fans have long debated whether or not that is her real name. Decades after the show ended, a writer was asked this question and said her real first name is Eunice but this is not considered canon.
