Answer: Amarillo Slim

Amarillo Slim was induced into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1992. He won his fourth WSOP bracelet in 1990. Quote from www.amarillo-slim.com.

Answer: Johnny Moss

Answer: Scotty Nguyen

Kevin McBride was steamrolled by Nguyen's full house, later saying he called the champ's all-in thinking the board would produce a split pot. Scotty won the tournament. Nguyen, born in Vietnam, moved to America when he was 14. After appearing at several WPT final tables, he won his first WPT in 2006. Answer: Doyle Brunson

Doyle Brunson said this during an interview with Nolan Dalla for PokerPages.com in May 2003 at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas. Doyle is the first person to win the WSOP Main Event two consecutive years. He won his 10th WSOP bracelet in 2005 for No Limit Shorthanded Hold'em. Doyle has authored several books on poker. 10-2 and A-Q are both called the Doyle Brunson hands. Quote from: pokerpages.com
5. Phil Hellmuth is know to be a real bad boy at the tables. Which of the following is one of his most famous sayings?

Answer: "If there weren't luck involved, I guess I'd win every one."

Phil said this after getting busted at the 2004 WSOP Main Event. In 1989, Phil became the youngest person to win the Main Event at the WSOP. He was 24 years old at the time. In 2005 he won the first National Heads-Up Poker Championship and in 2007 won his 11th WSOP bracelet. Phil was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2007.

Answer: Mike Matusow

Mike "The Mouth" Matusow and Phil Hellmuth appeared together at the 2005 Tournament of Champions final table. Whenever the action slowed, Mike would say this statement. Mike is probably better know for his "Matusow blow ups" than his poker playing. He started out as a poker dealer and turned into a professional player. In 2004, Mike started his 6 month jail sentence for pocession of concaine. Since then, Mike has turned his life around. He wrote an autobiography called "Check Raising the Devil" that was released in 2009.

Answer: Daniel Negreanu

At the 2007 WSOP Main Event, Daniel was heads up in a pot with Ryan McClean. Daniel raised with Q-10 off-suit and was re-raised when McClean caught A-A. Daniel calls the re-raise. When Daniel hits his queen on the flop, he says, "You know what I think you got? Aces! I think he's got two aces!" McClean bets, Daniel calls. They both check the turn and the river. After checking the river, Daniel says, "Why would you check aces on the turn? That was such a strange play. You had a straight draw and everything." McClean turned over the aces and won the pot.

Answer: Mike Sexton

This is what Mike says at the end of all WPT final tables after the winner has been named. Sexton is a former gymnast who attented Ohio State University earning a degree in public recreation. Sexton has one his first WSOP bracelet in 1989 for Seven Card Stud split. He is probably best know as a host for the World Poker Tour and being a spokesman for Party Poker. Mike is often referred to as the "ambassador of poker."

Answer: Antonio Esfandiari

Born in Iran, Antonio moved with his family to the U.S at the age of 9. After living in San Jose, he changed his name to Antonio at 19. Esfandiari was living life as a magician when he learned how to play poker. He has appearred on both "High Stakes Poker" and "Poker After Dark." He co-starred on the TV show, "I Bet You" with his best friend and fellow poker player, Phil Laak.

Answer: Phil Hellmuth

I couldn't make this quiz and not put that quote in. After making an incredible lay down with A-K against A-A at the 2005 WSOP Main Event, Phil told his wife "Honey, honey! I was supposed to go broke on that hand, honey! Except they forgot one thing. I can dodge bullets baby!"
