Answer: The Eighth Wonder of the World

Andre was not inducted via a ceremony. He only had a video shown of him and honoring him on an episode of "WWF Superstars". Andre was the first ever member of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Answer: True

The first real "class" of Hall of Famers were inducted in 1994. Shane inducted the legendary manager, Freddie Blassie, into the Hall of Fame. After he retired from in-ring competition in 1974, Freddie began a managing career. He managed greats like Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, and Iron Shiek. The great performer died at the age of 85 in June of 2003.

Answer: "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers

Buddy Rogers was the first "Nature Boy" in wrestling. He is idolized by many wrestlers today, including Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Buddy was a one time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and, as mentioned, the first WWWF World Heavyweight Champion. Rogers died in 1992 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame that same year by Bret Hart.
4. Vince McMahon inducted James Dudley into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1994. What was his big accomplishment?

Answer: He was the first African American to run a major arena in the United States.

James Dudley operated the Turner Arena in Washington, D.C. He was born on June 1, 1911 and died the same day in 2004.

Gorilla Monsoon (Robert Marella) was one of the most influential men in professional wrestling history. His accomplishments go on for ever: two time WWA World Tag Team Champion, two time WWC North American Heavyweight Champion, two time WWWF United States Tag Team Champion, World Wrestling Entertainment announcer and commissioner, and obviously Hall of Fame inductee.

He died in 1999 due to heart failure.
6. Did Chief Jay Strongbow ever win the Intercontinental Championship in his wrestling career?

Answer: No

Although Chief Jay Strongbow (Joe Scarpa) never won a single's title in World Wrestling Entertainment, he was a four time Tag Team Champion and a big influence to Native Americans in wrestling. Strongbow retired in 1985 but made a few appearances in the following years. He fully retired in 1994.
7. Arnold Skaaland was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1994 by Bob Backlund. His life was filled with hard times. Only four years passed between the war ending and Skaaland becoming a professional wrestler. He gained the nickname "Golden Boy" from his use of his wits and speed in the ring. After he retired, he began managing such men as Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund. Arnold Skaaland sadly died by his wife's side on March 13, 2007. He will be missed.

Bobo debuted in 1951 and, at first, was hated. After his lengthy feuds with such dangerous men as The Shiek and Killer Kowalski, he began to gain some popularity. He was often managed by James Dudley and he served as a mentor to "Soulman" Rocky Johnson. Brazil died unexpectedly in 1998.
