Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who did they have hosting the "RAW" portions of the show?

Answer: Terri and The Coach

I am getting more and more impressed by Terri. She is turning out to be a really talented journalist/interviewer. As for The Coach, well...comedic timing at its best. He is great for a laugh.
2. Who was hosting all of the "SmackDown!" segments?

Answer: Tazz and Michael Cole

I love this team! They are so great together. Their real life friendship really shows through. Michael is FINALLY coming into his own as the co-host of "SmackDown!" He used to be a photographer and lived in Sarajevo during the war over there in the late 1990's. What interesting stories he must have! As for Tazz, well he is the man who broke Kurt Angle's undefeated streak at the "Royal Rumble" (Tazz's WWE debut).
3. The first match represented the "SmackDown!" brand. Who won that match?

Answer: Edge

What a fantastic match between Edge and Eddie. This was the match where Edge gives Eddie an "Edgecution" off the top of the ladder in this "No Disqualification Match"!
4. Who's "Desire" video did they show?

Answer: The Undertaker

From Houston, Tx he has come a long way from the "Dark Side" and embraced his inner bad boy. The Undertaker will always be a hard act to follow. He is coming back at the Royal Rumble. I think we are about to see the regression of him back to the old Undertaker.
5. The next match was representing the "RAW" brand. Under what rules was it contested?

Answer: Ladder Match rules

The Undertaker versus Jeff Hardy in The Undertaker's FIRST ladder match. If the fans did not ALREADY respect Jeff, they did after this match. So did The Undertaker.
6. Who was "coming" according to the next segment?

Answer: Rey Mysterio

He brought the cool entrance, the "619" and his "West Coast Pop" with him. I wish "Tygress" and "Konnan" had come with him and then "The Filthy Animals" (along with Kidman and Torrie Wilson) would be back together.
7. Which event was the next match picked from?

Answer: SummerSlam

Rey Mysterio Versus Kurt Angle. Rey early in the match missed a "619" but hit Angle with it later. Also, Rey used the referee as a springboard, bounced off of him and landed on Angle outside the ring. Kurt reversed a "huracanrana" into the "anklelock" to win. Great match.
8. They played a "Retro RAW Moment". Which "Retro RAW Moment" did they show?

Answer: Owen Hart Tribute

I miss Owen. He was finally getting out of Bret's shadow and making a name for HIMSELF. The team of Jeff Jarrett and him had a great run as the Tag Team Champs. They were managed by Debra. "There is a special place in heaven for Owen Hart" said Jeff Jarrett. Truer words were never spoken.
9. Who was the referee of the Rock/Hogan match?

Answer: Mike Chioda

It (at the time) was the most anticipated match in years. Enough said.
10. Which arena/stadium was the match that started the second wave of "HULKAMANIA" held in?

Answer: Skydome (Toronto)

I was there during WrestleMania VI (Hogan/Warrior). This time around I hosted a WRESTLEMANIA PARTY from my house. Over 68,000 people witnessed this epic match. For those that missed it...you missed a very special moment in wrestling history. As the match went on the fans got more behind Hogan (and The Rock for that matter). After the match when the "nWo" attacked Hogan, The Rock came to his rescue when they disposed of the "nWo" they started a posedown that had the crowd on it's feet. By the way The Rock won.
11. The "RAW" hosts talked about two surprising returns. Who returned?

Answer: Shawn Michaels and Eric Bischoff

It is great to see the HeartBreak Kid back in action. Who in their right minds could have pictured Vince and Eric Bishoff hugging? What a surreal moment.
12. Shawn Versus Triple H in the " Non-Sanctioned Street Fight". Who was the referee?

Answer: Earl Hebner

It was Earl Hebner who was orginally introduced to the WWE on a "SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT" on February 5 1988. It was during the Hulk Hogan and Andre match where Andre "sold" the WWF/E Heavyweight Title to Ted DeBiase. This set up the WrestleMania IV tournament won by "Macho Man" Randy Savage incidently with the help from Hogan.
13. Shawn won the "Non-Sanctioned Street Fight". How did he do it?

Answer: Reversal of a move into a pinning bridge

Although he went for the "Sweet Chin Music" on 2 occasions he missed them. The bridge happened after he reversed Hunter's "Pedigree".
14. The next match represented "SmackDown!". Who were the participants?

Answer: Edge and Kurt Angle

Angle won via the "Angle Slam" in this encounter with the young Canadian. This happened after Edge missed a "Spear".
15. At what event was the next match from?

Answer: SummerSlam

A spectacle that was hyped with training videos,The Rock and Brock Lesnar put on a top notch match. The problem was that a lot (if not all) the fans knew the outcome because it was basically publicized that The Rock would be taking time off to film "Hellderado". Hence them all booing at The Rock.
16. The next little segment was a video package featuring the "Divas of the WWE". What was the name of the song that accompanied the video?

Answer: Shout

It is sung by Lillian Garcia. The single is available through
"WWE SHOPZONE" now!
17. Who was featured in the "Desire" video that was shown next?

Answer: Jeff Hardy

As one half of the always exciting Hardy Boyz, Jeff caught our attention with all of his death defying stunts, spectacular bumps and outrageous hair colours. This year he stood toe to toe with The Undertaker and when it was all said and done not only did he have our attention but our respect too! If he did not already!
18. The final match that was included on the special was from what edition of "RAW"?

Answer: Raw Roulette

A great concept from the mind of Eric Bishoff (or so HE thinks!) This was the Four Team TLC Match. Also that night was the "Las Vegas Showgirl" Match, A Blindfold Match, A Bra and Panty/Paddle On A Pole Match, An "It's Legal In Nevada" Match, and a Cage Match started the evening off.
19. What was the stipulation for the final match that was on the special?

Answer: Four Team TLC Match

Jeff Hardy & Rob Van Dam, Christian & Chris Jericho and Buh Buh Ray Dudley with little brother Spike all challenged Kane & The Hurricane. When Choosing who his partner was going to be Buh Buh Ray had originally asked Tommy Dreamer to team with him but Spike appealed to Buh Buh Ray's sense of family and picked Spike.

They almost went on to win the match several times. Also at one point Chris Jericho had Rob Van dam stretched over the top of the ladder. That looked like it had to hurt! This is the match that Buh Buh Ray suffered a somewhat mild concussion in (not his first I am sure...or his last!)
20. Who was the winner of the last match on the special?

Answer: Kane

Kane ended up defending the Tag Team Titles in this Four Team Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match ALONE! His partner, The Hurricane, was attacked shortly before the match by Ric Flair and Triple H. He chokeslammed Chris Jericho off the ladder and scaled it to successfully retain the belts for his team!
