1. Jake is the leader of the Animorphs. What does Ax always call Jake that annoys him?

Answer: Prince Jake

Prince is one of the highest Andalite ranks, Elfangor was a prince. Ax's full name is Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill. He was Elfangor's younger brother, and wants desperately to avenge Elfangor's death.

2. Who is the first person to morph in the series? What does he/she morph?

Answer: Tobias-cat

Tobias is the first person to believe Elfangor's story; he morphs a cat and soon after morphs a hawk. Although he doesn't know it at first, the reason why he has such a strong connection with Elfangor is because Elfangor is his father. He finds this out in book number 23.

3. How many Andalite controllers are there?

Answer: one

Alloran-Semitur-Corrass is the only Andalite-controller. It was due to Elfangor that Alloran became a controller. We find this out in "The Andalite Chronicles".

4. Jake and Cassie have both been infested with Yeerks.

Answer: True

Jake is infested in book six and the other Animorphs starve the Yeerk of Kandrona rays. Cassie, however, was not infested like Jake, she chose to allow Aftran into her head. Interestingly, Cassie has also morphed into a Yeerk, in book 29.

5. Jake and Marco both have family members who are controllers.

Answer: True

Jake's brother Tom is a controller. This is what makes Jake so determined to fight the Yeerks. Marco does not realise that his mother is infested until book five; he thought that she was dead. Before he found out his mother was Visser One, he didn't want to fight the Yeerks.

6. What is Jake's battle morph?

Answer: Tiger

Jake's tiger morph is the one he uses for battle. Marco morphs into a gorilla, and Cassie is usually a wolf. Rachel is either a grizzly bear or an elephant, it depends. Ax and Tobias do not morph, as their bodies are dangerous enough.

7. What is Visser 3's host's name?

Answer: Alloran

Alloran was on a mission with Elfangor when he was enslaved. Despite Alloran's pleadings, Elfangor's younger brother Aximili refused to kill Alloran in the eighth book.

8. Who is closest to Ax?

Answer: Tobias

Tobias and Ax get along very well, as they both live in the forest. Eventually, they find out that Ax is Tobias' uncle.

9. What is the limit to stay in a morph?

Answer: 2 hours

In the very first book, Tobias was unable to get to a safe pace to demorph, and so he is a Nothlit. However, in book 13 his ability to morph was restored by the Ellimist. Other Nothlits include Arbron, who was stuck in a Taxxon morph in "The Andalite Chronicles".

10. And finally... What are Hork-Bajir often described as?

Answer: Walking salad shooters

Hork Bajir have several razor sharp blades protruding from their arms, legs and heads. This makes them ideal for battle, although by nature they are a peaceful race. A colony of free Hork-Bajir was established in the mountains in book 13.
