Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these four people knows by the end of the televised show that Perry is a secret agent?

Answer: Stacy Hirano

Stacy finds out Perry's secret identity in "Happy Birthday, Isabella" after Doofenshmirtz and Perry accidentally bust into her house while fighting. Though Lawrence Fletcher does stumble upon Perry's lair, his memory of the incident is erased by O.W.C.A.'s memory eraser! Irving Du Bois, though he may document every moment of Phineas and Ferb's lives, remains unaware of their pet platypus's secret agent life. And finally, though Suzy may seem to be all-powerful, she is far from all-knowing.
2. When we first meet them in "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension", which character seems the least changed between their regular and second dimension self?

Answer: Buford

Candace is a hardened warrior who leads the resistance and cares little for Jeremy (at least at first). Isabella is a cold and intimidating commander of the Firestorm Girls. Phineas is a conforming and fearful kid. Buford, however, displays the same amount of physical intimidation/confrontation and goofiness that we know and love from Regular Dimension Buford.
3. In which televised episode do Jeremy and Candace officially become a couple?

Answer: "Summer Belongs to You!"

Yes, that's right - Jeremy and Candace begin calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend for the first time in this episode! They also have their first kiss. "Canderemy" was purely to mislead thanks to its name; the only thing that happens between Candace and Jeremy in this episode is that they physically get stuck together at the hip for the episode's entire eleven minutes after being zapped by Doofenshmirtz's "Combine-inator".

In "The Great Indoors", we (almost) learn why Jeremy likes Candace, but of course, this is already after the events of "Summer Belongs to You!". Finally, in "Where's Perry?" Candace thinks Jeremy broke up with her after a garbled phone call, only to realize at the end that it was a huge misunderstanding.
4. In which of these televised episodes does Linda Flynn NOT see what the boys did? (It happens more often than you think!)

Answer: "Leave the Busting to Us!"

Despite what the episode name might suggest, Candace does not bust the boys to her mom in "Leave the Busting to Us", despite inviting a professional buster.

In "Backyard Hodge Podge", Linda walks outside to her backyard to get a breath of fresh air after burning countless pies from sleep deprivation and sees the boys' 'backyard hodge podge' ride, but believes herself to be hallucinating because of how tired she is.

In "She's the Mayor", Candace, using her mayoral powers, successfully gets her mom to see the authentic pioneer village the boys built; however, Perry breaks Doofenshmirtz's Accelerate-inator at that exact moment, reversing time and causing the events of the day to undo themselves.

In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo", it actually happens twice. The first is when adult Candace uses the museum time machine to go back to the day of the "Rollercoaster: The Musical" episode and successfully busts Phineas and Ferb. The second time is when Phineas and Ferb travel to the future using the same time machine and reveal their young selves to a much older Linda, proving to her that Phineas and Ferb time travelled, and thus making her realize that all the stuff Candace was saying to her all along was true. In my opinion, this is the most authentic 'bust' in the entire series - Linda finally knows for real. No time-reversal, no timeline-altering, no memory wipe. And if that episode name isn't proof that adding the word 'quantum' to something makes it sounds infinitely more sciency, then I don't know what does.
5. Across the entire show, which of the following is not one of the ways that Isabella has imagined Phineas as when she was in 'Phineas land'?

Answer: Holding onto her waist at the front of a ship, Titanic-style

While there was a scene in the show similar to the answer, it was Baljeet and Mishti in the episode "That Sinking Feeling" who acted it out. And that means that, yes, Isabella actually did envision those two other scenes. To be fair, though, it's her imagination - she can do whatever the heck she wants.

The centaur thing was in "Isabella and the Temple of Sap" and the rock thing was in "Bee Day".
6. Which of these character's full names from the "Phineas and Ferb" TV show is incorrect?

Answer: Baljeet Pancholy

Baljeet's real name is Baljeet Tjinder! However, the fake last name used in the question is the real last name of his voice actor, Maulik Pancholy.

Even though Charlene and Dr. Doofenshmirtz are divorced, she states in the episode "Thaddeus and Thor" that she kept her last name Doofenshmirtz, presumably as a jab to Dr. Doofenshmirtz - even she's accepted in his family more than he is.

And though 'Carl Karl' and 'Irving Du Bois' sound a bit far-fetched, those are really their names. Though, it's a cartoon - honestly, the crazier names the better.
7. Across the entire show, which of these events does Candace NOT get punished or busted for?

Answer: Chasing after Phineas and Ferb's floating bubble in a car

Interestingly, Linda doesn't seem to get mad at Candace for reckless endangerment of life and limb, not to mention causing the car to go AIRBORNE, yet she flips when Candace throws a party. Also, poor Candace inadvertently grounds herself by telling her mom that she 'drove' the boys' all terrain vehicle.
8. Choose the televised episode in which Phineas first finds out that Isabella likes him. Choose the one that comes first chronologically among the answers that fit this description.

Answer: "Night of the Living Pharmacists"

While both "Act Your Age" and "Night of the Living Pharmacists" both contain scenes where Phineas discovers that Isabella likes him, "Night of the Living Pharmacists" came first in the timeline, and thus is the correct answer. Sadly, after both of them are infected with the pharmacist-zombie disease, they each lose their memory of the incident, which is how they learn about it seemingly for the first time in "Act Your Age". Interestingly, a similar thing happens even before "Night of the Living Pharmacists" in "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension", where Isabella kisses Phineas for the first time right before their memory is erased by the O.W.C.A. using Doofenshmirtz's Amnesia-inator.

"That Sinking Feeling" is certainly an episode charged with romantic tension, however, Isabella does not outright tell Phineas about her feelings for him. "It's No Picnic" sees Isabella finally getting what she wanted - alone time with Phineas. Though she does not voice her feelings to him during their picnic, she is nonetheless happy anyway.
9. Which of these iconic Phineas and Ferb inventions/refurbishments was their dad, Lawrence Fletcher, not a part of?

Answer: The Flying Fishmonger's motorcycle

There are few subtle pieces of this show I enjoy more than the fact that Lawrence Fletcher sometimes tags along on Phineas and Ferb's adventures. Of the four answer choices, the Flying Fishmonger motorcycle stunt is the only one he is not a part of. That would be his dad, Reginald "Reg" Fletcher, Phineas and Ferb's grandfather. They restore his old stunt bike which he used to jump gorges back in the day so that he can ride once again.

Lawrence Fletcher is present beside Candace in the monster truck that Phineas and Ferb build for her to try and help with parallel parking. He also rides along with his dad in their old biplane after Phineas and Ferb refurbish it and give it some 'upgrades'. And my favorite of them all, when he goes on the magic carpet ride with Phineas and Ferb and their friends while they all watch his favorite TV show, Pinhead Pierre.
10. Though here are only 104 days of summer vacation, there are certainly more Phineas and Ferb episodes than that! In which of the following televised episodes is this paradox NOT alluded to? The character who supposedly said each line is listed next the the episode title.

Answer: "Rollercoaster: The Musical!", Candace

Quotes from each of the episodes where the summer length paradox is alluded to:

"Fly on the Wall", Doofenshmirtz: "Ah, I'm telling ya, I'm dry, Perry the Platypus. Dry! And the summer just keeps going on and on and it feels like it's been goin' on for, like, four years!"

"The Curse of Candace", Phineas: "I know what you mean, Ferb, it does seem like more than 104 days."

"Cranius Maximus", Buford: "Has it only been three months? 'Cause I've been adding up all of the things we built this summer, and we're way over 150!"
