Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Starting with the As hold onto your hats because you are about to lose them if you buy one of these. The cost is ten Sickles. (Not to be used on muggles.)

Answer: Anti Gravity Hats

"Ruin a gentleman's day by making his hat fly away": this is the best prank for those who always lose their hats. Giving this to a muggle is a bad idea, and you will be arrested by the Accidental Magic Squad and the hat will be confiscated if you do this prank in the muggle world.
2. Heard of the Flying Car? Now you can have it for three Sickles and 11 Knuts. Just don't give one of these to Molly.

Answer: Aviatomobile

Who could forget the flying car. The Twins wanted their customers to be reminded of the joyride they did in '92 when they freed Harry from the Dursleys.
3. Be careful with this item or you will lose an eye, or worse, get a black one. The cost is 12 Sickles and 26 Knuts and don't forget to buy the Bruise Paste because this will never come off.

Answer: Punching Telescope

Hermione learned the hard way when she found one of these in the Twins' storeroom at the Burrow. While looking in a box for left over treats she accidentally triggered one and was punched in the face. Molly tried to remove it and Hermione even got a comment from Malfoy about it.

Hermione bought a bottle of Bruise Paste from the Twins and they reset the telescope and placed it in the back of their shop so no one will get hurt unless they attempt to buy it.
4. You are going to like this one. What did the Twins have in their window that looks like a man gurgling?

Answer: Bubble Machine

This bubble machine sends out bubbles, but they are multi-colored and perfect for parties.
5. Want to sing like the birds? Name the Twins' sweets that do just that. The cost is seven Sickles.

Answer: Canary Creams

Neville was the unfortunate person who tested these out in '94 when Harry won the First Task. It will turn you into a canary for 90 seconds.
6. These items can stink, so much Filch has banned them. This does not stop the students from buying them. Ginny uses these to test if doors are locked with Imperturbable Charms.

Answer: Stink Pellets and Dung Bombs

Filch hates these because The Twins played a prank on him once but if it was not for the Twins setting off their stink pellets and dung bombs Harry would not have inherited the Marauder's Map.
7. Want to eavesdrop? Buy one of these, just don't show them to Molly; she hates them. Also don't let McGonagall catch you with one in class; that is cheating.

Answer: Extendable Ears

Perfect for eavesdropping. Our heroes and Dumbledore's Army were given discounts by the Twins so they can use them to spy on the Death Eaters. Before, during, and after the Battle of Hogwarts McGonagall banned these in class because several students were using these to cheat on their tests.
8. Filch has banned these from Hogwarts because they are dangerous and he always has to repair paintings and tapestries every time he confiscates one. Most of these can be found in the Confiscated Objects Room in the Room of Requirement. Hermione had to tell off a fourth year in '96 for bringing one to school and had it confiscated.

Answer: Fanged Frisbees

This is one item you don't want to have without care. Gloves must be worn at all time when thrown. (They are not for those under 14.)
9. Want to have a party? Call the Twins they will bring these explosives to make your party go out with a bang.

Answer: Fireworks

Who could forget The Twins' fireworks this is how they made their escape when Umbridge put them in detention?
10. Imported from Peru, this item will make it impossible to see. For Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore's Army members only, not to be sold to Death Eaters or dark wizards.

Answer: Instant Darkness Powder

This stuff makes it hard to see. Only a Hand of Glory can get you through this dark fog. The Twins banned the item from being sold to Death Eaters after Malfoy used some to start the Battle of the Astronomy Tower.
11. WonderWitch is a line of products for witches trying to date wizards. Which of these is banned at Hogwarts?

Answer: Love Potion

Actually all of it is banned by Filch but no one at Hogwarts cares: the only item in the WonderWitch line which is completely banned is Love Potion. That does not stop Lavender Brown and Romilda Vane from smuggling it in. Hermione and Ginny overheard Romilda and Lavender in the girls' room and raced to the library to warn Harry and Ron. Ron ditched Lavender and Harry shrugged off the advances of Romilda, and she gave Harry chocolates for Christmas. Unknown to Harry and Ron, Romilda spiked the chocolates with Flirting Fancies: which was the Fred and George brand of Amortentia. Ron opened the box by mistake and Harry made the mistake of letting it sit because everyone knows once Love Potion sits for four months it turns into Amortentia, which is dangerous. Ron overdosed on it, and Harry had to take him to Slughorn so they could cook up an antidote, because going to Madam Popfrey would get them suspended.

The good news is that Slughorn cured him: the bad news is Slughorn mixed up some wine, and gave Ron a bottle of mead which had poison hemlock inside it. Harry saved Ron in time with a bezoar.
12. Need a diversion? Place one of these under the door of the office of the person you want to get rid of. Sold at discount to DA and Order Members only, not for Death Eaters.

Answer: Decoy Detonator

Harry used one of these to distract Umbridge so he could break into her office.
13. These sweets are dangerous to anyone who swallows them. The Twins gave one to Dudley when he was on his diet and Arthur had to sort it out. What are these dangerous sweets?

Answer: Ton-Tongue Toffee

Now you see how dangerous these are? Molly ordered half of The Twins' stock of Toffees destroyed. In '94 The Twins tried to smuggle them into the World Cup but Molly had all of them confiscated with a Summoning Charm.
14. Don't leave your wand in the open or someone will use a Disarming Charm on you and replace it with one of these. What is it?

Answer: Trick Wands

Now that is a real practical joke. Trick Wands can turn into anything from a Rubber Chicken, to Tin Parrots, to Underwear, and in Molly's case, a mouse. Just don't leave your wand in the open you will never know when a prankster will steal it and replace it with a fake.
15. Want to skip class or cause a diversion? Give someone one of these. Just don't eat the red ones; there is no cure.

Answer: Skiving Snackbox

Perfect for skipping class or getting out of work. Our Heroes used them to break into the Ministry. Fainting Fancies knock you unconscious long enough for someone to place the Stunning Spell or the Body Bind on you to truly knock you out. Fever Fudge will give you a cold but the downside is you get boils on your face and break out into pimples, plus they can spread through out your body even making your privates itch. Nosebleed Nougat will give you a bloody nose The Twins are still working on it and have recently come up with the antidote. Puking Pastilles will make you sick the green and orange ones will make you vomit the purple ones will cure it. By far the Pastilles can be messy.
