Blackbeard and his crew of pirates terrorized sailors on the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea from 1716 through 1718. Blackbeard started his career as a pirate under the legendary Benjamin Hornigold.
2. Who was the famous pirate from the movie "Peter Pan"?

Answer: Captain Hook

Captain Hook was a fictional character from "Peter Pan". He had a metal hook that replaced his left hand. Instead of sailing the high seas, Captain Hook focused on getting revenge on Peter Pan for cutting off his left hand off and feeding it to the crocodile. Ever since the crocodile ate Captain Hook's hand, he has constantly chase Hook hoping to finish him off.

Mary Read and Anne Bonny were both raised as boys by their families. Mary Read was born 1685 and is one of only two women known to have been convicted of piracy during the 18th century. Between 1718 and 1720, Anne Bonny fought under the command of "Calico Jack" Rackham.
