Question 1 of 10
1. Our journey to find the ten Tiddle Horcruxes begins in the United Kingdom, where these "Lewis" pieces (which are carved from walrus ivory) are located. In order to destroy the Horcrux hidden amongst them, we must win the game of which they are a part. What game of skill must we be king of? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. We travel to China where we discover that the next Tiddle Horcrux is in the form of a book. It's not just any book, but one of the most printed books in the world titled "Quotations From Chairman Mao Tse-tung". It seems a nearly impossible task! Well, we could narrow down the choices by looking at a certain size and color for which the book is nicknamed. What should we be looking for? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. This Horcrux is cruelly hidden in the form of a bird's egg. We must be careful not to unnecessarily destroy any eggs which are real. Our information tells us that the fake bird's egg looks exactly like one laid by this South American flightless bird. Named after a Greek Titan, what bird's egg should we search for? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. Our next Tiddle Horcrux has us in the fight of a lifetime. After traveling to the U.S. state of Minnesota, we are forced to fight this giant statue! Little did we know that the Horcrux was the statue's beard, and we only had to shout the man's name to destroy it. What name from American folklore should we shout? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. While Tiddle didn't hide this next Horcrux at Gringotts, he did choose a treasury in the ancient city of Petra. We must travel to what country in order to search the halls of this ancient financial institution? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Tiddle thought he was being clever with this next Horcrux which was used during the Lower Paleolithic and is known as a "biface" in the archaeology world. He didn't think that we would search for something that was over a million years old and difficult to identify. To know what we need to destroy we need to discover the purpose it served. Of what rudimentary use was this ancient tool? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Tiddle presented us with a dilemma with this next challenge, which was a rather big one. He had created a Horcrux from an entire island in the Pacific. And he thought he might get away with it, too, since many of the islands and atolls in this nation are soon to be underwater due to predicted climate changes. Where did he hide this island Horcrux? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. This Horcrux is hidden in the form of a fungus with a spell that makes it immune to dying. The only way to destroy the Horcrux is to eat it. Tiddle has chosen this genus of mushrooms as most of its species are poisonous, including the ominous "death cap". In what genus of mushrooms should we be searching for this fungus Horcrux? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. To find the next Horcrux, we must visit Japan where we know an ancient artifact from a feudal ruling family, or daimyo family, is the key. Hopefully we do not have to fight any samurai! We know the symbol (mon) of the clan and that the family ruled the shogunate from 1603-1867. Which clan is it? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. Can an imprint be a Horcrux? Apparently Tiddle has found a way to make it work. It's going to be awfully hard to destroy this last Horcrux as this footprint was made by what person? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: chess

We find the Lewis chessmen in the British Museum, a set of chess pieces that were discovered in Scotland. Thought to be created in the 12th century, the designs of each chess piece are infamous for their absurdity.

The chess pieces magically assemble and move on their own, and when we finally checkmate the enemy, their king bursts into pieces. It's a bit unfortunate as the Lewis chessman are priceless artifacts, but it couldn't be helped.

Answer: Little Red Book

The "Little Red Book", as it is often called in the West, is likely the third most published book after the Bible and the Quran. With approximately 800 million copies in circulation, we have a long task ahead of us. Thanks to the use of magic, we are able to first narrow down the choices to books which were little and red.

Then we are able to find the specific "Little Red Book" which holds Tiddle's Horcrux. Poof! Horcrux no more!

Answer: rhea

Rheas are native to South America, so our search commences on this continent. The fake egg we are looking for ought to be about thirteen inches (33cm) in circumference, about the size of an average rhea egg. Scanning possible rhea eggs for a lack of life, we find a stone-filled dud which we quickly vanquish.

Answer: Paul Bunyan

It might be fortunate that this particular statue doesn't also have a partner statue of Paul Bunyan's pet, Babe the Blue Ox. Destroying Paul Bunyan's beard might be a bit cruel for a woodsman, but considering both the character and the statue aren't real, we shouldn't feel too bad.
5. While Tiddle didn't hide this next Horcrux at Gringotts, he did choose a treasury in the ancient city of Petra. We must travel to what country in order to search the halls of this ancient financial institution?

Answer: Jordan

The treasury is a bit isolated, so it might be best to use broomsticks to get here, and we ought to cast a heat-protection spell for this desert heat. Searching the halls of the treasury at Petra, we find an ancient royal coin. With one flick of the wrist, we banish the Horcrux to oblivion.

Answer: hand axe

Considered the oldest tools in human history, hand axes were versatile and easy to make. Most commonly flint was knapped to make its edges sharp. Then the tool could be used to butcher, cut wood, and even dig for food.

Destroying this artifact of humanity's ancestors is a bit sad, but we must be vigilant with Tiddle.

Answer: Kiribati

Along with the Maldives, these two island nations are in real trouble of submerging completely due to rising sea levels. Kiribati has even purchased land in Fiji so they can relocate some of their population.

We are lucky that Tiddle chose an island with no population, and we got here just in time as the island atoll was nearly completely submerged.

Answer: Amanita

Amanita mushrooms, specifically the Amanita muscaria (fly amanita) are identified with the red cap and often called "toadstools". While this specific mushroom is poisonous, it is usually not toxic. However, other amanitas are very poisonous, including the Amanita phalloides, or "death cap". This mushroom is still a "toadstool", but doesn't share the red cap, instead having a yellow-brownish color.

It would be best to bring a series of antidote potions with us so that when we eat the mushroom Horcrux, we don't get poisoned!

Answer: Tokugawa

The Tokogawa symbol is often known as the "triple hollyhock", and is famous amongst Japanese clans. The Shimazu mon (symbol) is a circle with a cross in the middle, the Oda mon is a flower, and the Takeda mon is a series of four diamonds.

Since the Tokugawa clan ruled for many years, it was difficult to find the Horcrux, a Tokugawa samurai sword.
10. Can an imprint be a Horcrux? Apparently Tiddle has found a way to make it work. It's going to be awfully hard to destroy this last Horcrux as this footprint was made by what person?

Answer: Buzz Aldrin

As Buzz Aldrin was one of the astronauts aboard Apollo 11, this footprint was made on the moon in 1969. Tiddle must have been playing the long game!

Tiddle has really made this last Horcrux really difficult to access. Perhaps we will need a travel spell along with an oxygen mask spell to travel there. Talk about cross-genre!
