He was known as a heavy drinker, and it may be that the rumours of the unusual method of execution started from this. In case you're wondering, a butt of wine is 105 imperial gallons.

Answer: Angel

"Angel" first aired in 1999. Angel (played by David Boreanaz) was Buffy's vampire boyfriend. 9. If you were listening to a campanologist, what sound would you hear?

Answer: Bells ringing

10. The first nine answers should lead you to the title of a feelgood film which is often shown at Christmas. Name it.

Answer: It's a Wonderful Life

"It's a Wonderful Life premiered in 1946 (1). It told the story of George Bailey (2), played by James Stewart (3). George was married to Mary, played by Donna (4) Reed. They lived in the town of Bedford (5) Falls.

George was contemplating suicide when he was visited by Clarence (6), an angel (7). Clarence showed George what his town and the people in it would have been like if George had not existed, persuading George that his life was worthwhile after all.

Clarence is actually a trainee angel who has yet to earn his wings (8). Every time a bell rings (9), an angel gets his wings. The film ends with the sound of a bell ringing, meaning that Clarence has earned his wings.
