In 'Run Fatboy Run', Simon Pegg played a feckless character who ran away from his wedding and ended up running a marathon to win back his woman. It also starred Thandie Newton and Hank Azaria.

This was Schwimmer's feature film debut as director, though he had previously directed himself in a 1998 TV movie: 'Since You've Been Gone'.

The death rate in early 1942 was 100,000 per month. Hundreds of thousands of the 1.4 million civilians who were evacuated died as well. The Germans had over half a million casualties.

Billie Holiday was the professional name of Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959). Her style of singing was influenced by jazz musicians like Louis Armstrong as well as singers like Bessie Smith. She was very influential herself - Frank Sinatra said that she 'was, and still remains, the greatest single musical influence on me'.

Her work includes: 'Lady Sings the Blues', 'Me, Myself, and I' and 'Strange Fruit'.
9. The 1994 World Cup was won by Brazil, who beat Italy on penalties in the final. In which country was the tournament held?

Despite the lack of a real football (soccer) culture in the USA, the tournament was a great success, breaking attendance records. The final was heartbreaking for Italy's Roberto Baggio, the player of the tournament, who missed the final kick in the penalty shootout.

Diana Ross portrayed BILLIE HOLIDAY (8) in the 1972 biopic 'Lady Sings the Blues'.

She performed at the opening ceremony of the USA's 1994 WORLD CUP TOURNAMENT (9) where she famously messed up a penalty kick stunt.
