Question 10 of 10
10. Boba Fett is probably one of the coolest villains of all time. What's strange is that he has a total of a few minutes of screen time in both "The Empire Strikes Back" and "The Return of the Jedi" combined. Like Darth Maul, although laconic, he leaves a lasting impression on the viewer. So much so that many novels have been written about him. Of all the following bounty hunters, which one would Boba Fett trust with his life? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The ultimate gangster, Al "Scarface" Capone, is forever remembered for the St. Valentines Day Massacre. Some of his men went to rival gang lord George "Bugs" Moran's warehouse, and killed everyone inside. What did the Capone boys dress up as in order to lull the North Side boys into a false sense of security?

Answer: Policemen

The St. Valentine's Day massacre was monumental in American history, because afterwards people started to realize the power of these bootleggers. That they were organized, dangerous, and well armed. That they would crush all who stood in their way. Incidentally, the victims of the massacre had the last laugh. Al Capone developed syphilis.
2. Hannibal Lecter, a villain more fascinating than the hero of the movie. Hannibal is a character so well developed that he intrigues us. A man of culture and distinction who eats people. What was the FIRST movie that Hannibal appeared in?

Answer: Manhunter

'Red Dragon' was actually a remake of 'Manhunter'. Hannibal was played by Brian Cox in 'Manhunter'. Anthony Hopkins first picked up this role in 'The Silence of the Lambs'. He really made the role and is Hannibal the Cannibal. Although Cox did a fantastic job in 'Manhunter', Hopkins really shined.

He later made 'Hannibal', and then 'Red Dragon'. Some have speculated about who the character of Hannibal is based on. The consensus is that for a large part, Hannibal is based on serial killer/cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer. Dahmer received fifteen consecutive life terms for his heinous actions.
3. In the movie 'Blade Runner', there was a villain that will never be forgotten. Rutger Hauer played killer android Roy Batty with a heart. He kills, but only to find a way to extend his own life. Right before Roy Batty dies (shuts down), he gives a beautiful soliloquy. In it, where does he say he saw attack ships on fire?

Answer: Off the Shoulder of Orion

Not only is it amazing how deep and thoughtful Roy Batty's soliloquy is, its also amazing that Rutger Hauer adlibbed the whole thing. He thought that it would be perfect for the character of Roy Batty. He was right. Here is the whole soliloquy "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die".
4. In the novel 'A Game of Thrones', George R.R. Martin created the ultimate villain, one who commits horrible actions. Eventually, the reader realizes that he is a man with conflicting emotions. Sandor Clegane one minute will kill a little girl's wolfhound, and the next minute will comfort her. Of all the villains in this wonderful piece of literature, Sandor is the most sympathetic. What is Sandor Clegane's nickname?

Answer: The Hound

He is called The Hound because of his dog-shaped helm. His brother, Gregor Clegane, is known as The Mountain That Rides. It is absolutely chilling in the novel when Sander tells of his youth, where for stealing a toy his brother did not even want, Gregor had held Sandor's face in a fire. Since Gregor was so strong, it took three men to pry him off of Sandor.

The Onion Knight doesn't show up until the second book in the series, 'A Storm of Swords'. I highly recommend the series 'A Song of Fire and Ice' to any who enjoy a complex medieval story with villains that aren't really villains, and heroes who aren't really heroes.
5. Benedict Arnold is one of the most hated men in American history. Many know of his traitorous attempts to sell West Point to the British. But few know about his courageous actions before he turned traitor. Which famous British stronghold is Benedict Arnold famous for capturing?

Answer: Fort Ticonderoga

After Benedict Arnold's treason was discovered, he fled to Britain. He was depressed for the rest of his life. Many people, both in America and Britain treated Arnold with contempt. He finally passed away in London, in 1801. He lived long enough to see the success of America.
6. Bob Salvatore created a memorable villain when he wrote 'The Halfling's Gem', the sequel to the best-selling 'The Crystal Shard'. In the character of Artemis Entreri, he was able to imbue a mixture of nobility and cruelty, which always fascinates people. What is the weapon of choice for Artemis Entreri?

Answer: A Jeweled Dagger

Entreri can suck the life force out of anyone who he stabs with his dagger. This life force can be used by him to heal him from any wounds. He eventually found a powerful, magical sword to use as his main weapon. This sword had the ability to created disconcerting waves of ash in the air. For further reading, check out 'Servant of the Shard'. I found it riveting.
7. In the movie 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly', Lee Van Cleef plays an ultra violent criminal named Angel Eyes. The scene where someone is being tortured before his eyes and he is lounging back in his chair is so creepy. Of the following actions, which one did Angel Eyes NOT commit?

Answer: Held someone's face in a barrel until that person drowned

Lee Van Cleef was the Bad in the movie. Eli Wallach played Tuco Ramirez, the Ugly. Clint Eastwood played Blondie, the Good. This is the only chapter of the Man With No Name series where Clint Eastwood was given a name, sort of. I think other than 'Absolute Power' and 'Dirty Harry', this is Eastwood's best movie.
8. One of the worst examples of villainy in history is Iosef Vissarionovich Djugashvili A.K.A. Joseph Stalin. He is responsible for some of the worst atrocities ever committed. In his reign, millions were executed as "enemies of communism". Was Stalin practicing to become a priest before he became a Bolshevik?

Answer: Yes

It's true; Stalin was practicing to become a priest. He got thrown out of the seminary due to his disrespect for authority and his reading of taboo books. Lenin, the founder of the Bolsheviks, actually was a priest. It is said that he disliked Stalin and worried about Stalin's grab for power. Lenin would have turned over in his grave if he knew what Stalin had done to the communist movement after his death.
9. "I'll be back". I couldn't make a villain quiz without mentioning the Terminator. The ultimate villain, one who feels nothing. No remorse, no regret, and he doesn't stop until you or he are dead. I can't ask who played the Terminator, that's too easy. Instead I'll ask who played the guardian from the future, Kyle Reese, who fights the Terminator?

Answer: Michael Biehn

In some ways, the first movie was better than the second one. Although T2 had better action and special effects, I felt the story wasn't as solid. Plus, I much prefer Arnie as a bad Terminator. In my opinion, the pinnacle of Arnold's career was when he made Total Recall.

A movie with violence, but emotion as well. That is one of the few movies where Arnie actually acts. Now he's the Governor. Strange.

Answer: Denger

Boba Fett trusts him because Denger saved Boba's life after he got spit out by the Sarlacc. Bossk and Boba would probably shoot each other on sight. Boba killed every manifestation of IG-88 so I'm not feeling the love. Han Solo isn't even technically a bounty hunter. If you want to learn more about the Fett-meister, read 'Tales of the Bounty Hunters', and the Bounty Hunter trilogy. Please send me feedback of this quiz, whether negative or positive. :}
