Alberta's southeastern area is known as the badlands with deep canyons and amazing and beautiful landforms. In the city of Brooks one can visit Dinosaur Provincial Park to see plenty of desert flora, the terrain of the badlands and many remnants of dinosaurs that once roamed the area.

Halifax suffered devastation when two ships, the SS Mont-Blanc and the SS Imo collided on December 6, 1917. They were in the Narrows which leads to and from the Bedford Basin. Bedford Basin is an enclosed bay which makes up the northwestern end of Halifax Harbour. The SS Mont-Blanc was fully loaded with wartime explosives which caused a catastophic explosion which ended up killing about two thousand people, injuring approximately nine thousand people and leveling homes and buildings.
Most of Nova Scotia is a peninsula, with Cape Breton Island joined by the Canso Causeway. The bodies of water that surround Nova Scotia include the Atlantic Ocean, Northumberland Strait, St. George's Bay, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Cabot Strait, Bay of Fundy and many more bays, both large and small.
Nova Scotia is home/has been home to many famous musicians such as Hank Snow, Anne Murray and Rita MacNeil.

New Brunswick has its signature attraction known as the Hopewell Rocks or Flowerpot Rocks which are located in the Bay of Fundy. These rocks, which stand from twelve meters to twenty one meters high (forty to seventy feet), are completely covered with water during a high tide, twice per day. When the tide is out, one can walk on the ground at the base of these rocks.
Other places to see include Reversing Falls, Irving Nature Park, Carleton Martello Tower, Fort Howe, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Loyalist House, Kennebecasis Island and much more.

To the west is Manitoba, to the east is Quebec and to the south are the US states of Minnesota, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Some major cities include Oshawa, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, St. Catherines, Niagara Falls, Windsor, Barrie, Sudbury and Kingston.

One of the busiest highways in the world is in Ontario. It is Highway 401 (officially the Macdonald-Cartier Freeway) which runs from Windsor to the Quebec border. Its length is 817.9 km (508.2 mi). It is a major transportation highway with a clearly posted speed limit of 100 km/h (62 mph).
