2. South of Timaru is a small fishing village known for its boulders. What is the name of this village?

The Royal Albatross Centre is the only place in the world where the albatross nest on the mainland. The other places are isolated islands. They mate for life and usually live for about 30 - 40 years.
4. We reach Bluff. Here, when in season, Bluff oysters are dredged from what body of water?

Answer: Foveaux Strait

Commercial oystering began in the 1860s. Since 1963 the fishery has come under control of a quota system. Bluff oysters are so popular that helicopters are used to rush them directly from the oyster boats to shops around the country.
5. Where is the 'Cherry capital of New Zealand'?

Answer: Cromwell

Cromwell is situated on the shores of Lake Dunstan. With hot and dry summers, this area is excellent for growing fruit. Lake Dunstan was formed when the Clyde Dam was built. Part of the old town had to be relocated as it is now under water. Cromwell is 31km northwest of Alexandra which is home to an annual blossom festival.

8. We reach Milford Sound and the spectacular Mitre Peak. What is the name of the tunnel we have travelled through to get here?
