Klemens von Metternich (1773-1859) was one of the most influential people of the 19th Century. He was pivotal at the Congress of Vienna in 1815 that saw a new European system established after the chaos of the Napoleonic wars. The Congress of Vienna established a general peace in Europe that would last for the next century.

He was also conspicuously involved in domestic policy, and was largely behind the repressive Karlsbad Decrees of 1819 that saw restrictions on civil liberties imposed throughout the empire.
2. Hitler's henchman Rudolf Hess was born where?

Answer: Egypt

Hess's father was a merchant in Alexandria, Egypt when little Rudolf was born there on April 26, 1894.
3. Where was Charlemagne crowned Emperor?

Answer: Rome

Charlemange had already been crowned King of the Franks at Aachen in AD 772. He was crowned Emperor by Pope Leo III in St. Peter's Basilica on Christmas Day A.D. 800, thus becoming the first post-Classical Emperor in Western Europe.
