Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What should you do when you are playing "Any 50", and you are dealt three Kings and two Queens?

Answer: Drop your hand when dealing is complete, whether it's your turn or not

Face cards are worth 10. When you are playing "Any 50", that means you could drop at the very beginning of the game, if all of the cards you are dealt equal 50. You don't have to be the first player.
2. What does the term "Hit and Stick" mean?

Answer: When you add 2 cards to another player's spread, he/she can not drop for 2 rounds

When you are "hit", you must "stick" around for as many rounds as you were hit.
3. What is the term called when you have only two 5's in your hand, then you pluck another 5 and spread?

Answer: tonk out

If you are gambling, when a player tonks out, they are owed double from all other players.
4. You have only the 6 of Hearts, 7 of Hearts, and 3 of Diamonds in your hand. You then pluck the 8 of Hearts. You make a spread with the 6,7,and 8 of Hearts, and throw away the 3 of Diamonds. If you were gambling, would you win double?

Answer: No

You only win double if you "tonk out". When you have a card left over to throw away, that is not tonking out.
5. There are two of you playing. You have 1 card in your hand, which is an Ace of Diamonds. Your opponent has 2 cards in his/her hand. You should not assume you have a lower hand because you only have one card and your opponent has 2.

Answer: False

Ace's are worth 1. If you only have 1 Ace in your hand, it's not possible for your opponent to have a lower hand than you with 2 cards in his/her hand. Even if he/she has 2 Aces, that equals 2, and you are still lower.
6. Which of these is an option when it is your turn?

Answer: Not pluck at all

You could just drop without plucking, pluck the first card from the deck, or pluck the last card thrown away.
7. If you feel you have the lowest hand, you do not have to wait until your turn to drop.

Answer: False

You only don't have to wait your turn to drop when you have "any 49 or 50". Everything else, you must wait your turn.
8. What does the term "caught" mean?

Answer: A player dropped his/her hand because he/she felt they had the lowest hand, but another player was even lower

If you drop you cards thinking you are the lowest, and you're not, you got "CAUGHT"
9. If you miscount your cards, or if you drop too soon, 10 points will be deducted from your score.

Answer: False

You don't keep score in this game.
10. You can only spread Ace-2-3, never Ace-King-Queen.

Answer: True

Some people twist the rules and spread Ace, King, Queen, but technically, you are not supposed to.
