Answer: Far from the Home I Love

Perchik, the man who Hodel loves, has been sent to Siberia and she is determined to join him there. In the film a wide area with no signs of life is shown, and they are waiting by the railway track in the middle of nowhere. The train stops and Hodel gets on and it is very evident that she will be travelling a very long distance and may never see her father or family again.

The music was written by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick.

Answer: Honey Bun

Nellie Forbush, played by Mitzi Gaynor, dressed as a sailor to sing and dance; she was helped by one of the ratings who took the part of 'Honey Bun', and got a lot of mockery from the audience. The song was written by Rogers and Hammerstein, who wrote all the songs in this musical.

The music for this wonderful show was written by Leonard Bernstein, and the lyrics were by Stephen Sondheim. It is based on 'Romeo and Juliet' by William Shakespeare, which was the story of two young people from rival families in Italy who fall in love.

The story in 'West Side Story' follows the same theme, but in this case it is about racial tensions between the resident New Yorkers and the Hispanic immigrants from Puerto Rico. Both stories come to the same tragic end. Anita, girlfriend of Maria's brother Bernardo, discovers the lovers' secret, and sings this passionate song to try to get Maria to break it off with Tony.

The musical is written by Tim Rice (lyrics) and Andrew Lloyd Webber (music).

The musical 'Oliver' was written by Lionel Bart, and is based on the novel 'Oliver Twist' by Charles Dickens. Mrs Bedwin, Mr. Brownlow's housekeeper, also sings 'Where is Love' later in the show.

The music for 'Me and My Girl', first performed in 1937, was written by Noel Gay and its original book and lyrics were by Douglas Furber and L. Arthur Rose. It has been revived many times since and new songs have been added e.g. in 1952 the song 'Leaning on a Lamppost' was added.

The story is about a cockney man who finds that he is related to the aristocracy. At a party he tries to impress his new upper class set, but soon drops the pretense and teaches the aristocrats the Lambeth Walk.
