Answer: Seattle

 Fifth Avenue Theatre in Seattle was chosen for the trial run of "Shrek the Musical". The theatre run was for ten days, and afterward there began a number of adaptions to the show before its run on Broadway.
2. "Shrek the Musical" was modified before it finally hit Broadway. In what year did it open on Broadway?

Answer: 2008

 Late in 2008 "Shrek the Musical" opened at the Broadway Theatre. The show was produced for over 400 performances, and closed early January 2010. The show received generally favorable reviews. Although considered successful, it actually failed to recoup its initial investment.
3. When "Shrek the Musical" ended on Broadway, it was taken on an American tour from 2010 to 2013. Where was the last performance of this tour held?

Answer: Reno

 Commencing the tour in Chicago in July 2010 and touring the country, it finally had its last performance in Reno in 2013. There were major changes in this tour version from the Broadway show, including a number of song changes and character changes.

 Shrek and Donkey go in search of Fiona. At the castle, Shrek has to go alone to rescue Fiona, as Donkey is waylaid by a dragon. Shrek finds Fiona, who is not impressed with him, as he was not a prince charming, but was an ogre. Shrek is forced to drag Fiona out of the castle. Joining back with Donkey, they escape whilst being chased by an angry dragon.

Answer: Donkey

 Donkey discovers that Fiona turns into an ogre at night. Fiona reveals that she was cursed as a child and that is why she was locked in the castle. The only way that Fiona can be freed from the curse is by a kiss from her true love.
8. King Farquaad's wedding to Fiona is interrupted by Shrek, which results in Fiona turning into an ogre. The king is disgusted, and orders whom to be killed?

Answer: Shrek and the Fairyland Creatures

 When Shrek interrupts the wedding of Fiona and Farquaad, the sun sets and, of course, Fiona turns into an ogre. Farquaad is utterly shocked and repulsed, and orders that not only Shrek be executed but that all the fairyland creatures be executed.
9. How is King Farquaad killed?

Answer: Incineration by Dragon's fire

 Before Farquaad can act out his orders, Shrek whistles for the dragon. The dragon crashes through the window and kills Farquaad by her fire. Shrek and Fiona finally kiss, whereupon she takes on her true form, an ogre.
