Ray is the unlikely singer who sings the opening song with Clint. Ray is a legendary innovative musician whose career includes jazz, blues and country chart success. The year before "Any Which Way You Can" was filmed his version of "Georgia On My Mind" was proclaimed the state song of Georgia with Charles performing it on the floor of the state legislature. Sondra Locke returns as Clint's girlfriend, Lyn Halsey Taylor, and sings "One Too Many Women in Your Life" in two bar scenes. Jim Stafford is known for the hit song "Spiders and Snakes".

Al Ruscio has been a character actor since the late fifties. His first credited role is in an episode of "Gunsmoke" in 1958. He frequently is cast in gangster type roles. He has portrayed Al Capone on film and had the role of Leo Cuneo in "The Godfather: Part III". Usually appearing in minor roles or guest spots, he has played a regular cast character in soap operas including "Port Charles" and "Days of Our Lives". Charles Gammon plays the bartender at the Palomino Cub. Dick Christy has the role of a Jackson Hole police officer. Harry Guardino plays gangster Jim Beekman.

Answer: A Volkswagen

During several scenes the Volkswagen gradually becomes destroyed until she pulls into the motel parking lot. When she gets out of the tow truck the axle is the only remaining part of the car and it falls away from the tow boom. Ruth Gordon also appears as Sevonia Boggs in "Every Which Way But Loose".

She is always annoyed with Clyde the Orangutan because he eats her Oreos and hides Clint's money from her. The original Clyde had grown too old so another orangutan played Clyde in the sequel. The orangutan died two weeks after the filming wrapped. Ruth Gordon is an acclaimed character actor who has been involved in films as an actor or writer since the forties.

Answer: The Pink Cloud

Geoffrey Lewis (Orville Boggs) and Ruth Gordon (Sevonia Boggs) both try to locate Clint before the gangsters find him at the Pink Cloud Motel. In order to find the motel and bring reinforcements, Lewis challenges the police to a drag race to it after asking for directions.

The retired Mid-west traveling couple, Luthor and Loretta, are played by real life couple Anne and Logan Ramsey. The characters all start acting out to impress their respective mates in the motel rooms, resulting in Luthor hurting his back.

The gangsters kidnap Sondra Locke to ensure Clint will honor his agreement to fight.

Answer: Jackson Hole, Wyoming

The finale tears up the town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. All the participants and gamblers converge on the town causing quite a ruckus. There are several wide shots of the locale, including the well-known piles of antlers. Clint and Smith agree not to fight to make the gangsters rich, but begin a fight to see who would actually win.

The fight spills from a barn into the street, tearing up restaurants and other businesses. Clint wins by a knockout despite having his right arm broken when Smith kicks it against a stove. Denver is the scene for the last fight in "Every Which Way But Loose" with Denver "Tank" Murdock. Bakersfield is the locale for Clint's home and hangouts in both movies.

Answer: Barry Corbin

Barry Corbin began his career as a Shakespearean actor. He has appeared in over 100 films and television shows. He is probably best known for having the role of former astronaut Maurice Minnifield in "Northern Exposure". He received an Emmy nomination for the character.

He is also on the series "The Closer" playing Clay Johnson, father of Deputy Chief Brenda Lee Johnson. In the movie Fat Zack flies a jet upside-down into Jackson Hole, continuing on down the highway with the jet after landing. Rob Morrow plays Dr. Joel Fleischman in "Northern Exposure". John Corbett plays Chris Stevens, the disc jockey on the same show. John Cullum plays Holling Vincoeur, the owner of the bar in the show.

Before the fight begins he claims that he had beaten every Marine he fought in the Marine Corps. The boast is repeated by spectators on both sides of the fight. Richard "Dick" Durock portrays the officer. He has appeared in over 80 films and TV productions.

He is known for playing the Swamp Thing in both the feature films "Swamp Thing" and "The Return of Swamp Thing". Durock also appears with Clint Eastwood in "The Enforcer".
