Producer Alan Poul said that if Virginia Madsen had been unavailable, then unknown actress Sandra Bullock would have been selected. Some of Madsen's other movies include "Zombie High", "The Rainmaker", and "A Prairie Home Companion."

Candyman's naked body was slathered with honey and the bees stung him to death. This was after his right hand had been cut off with a rusty saw. The bees were featured in the beginning when the Candyman talked and again in the end.

DeJuan Guy played this African-American little boy. His short stature and innocent face gave Jake a likable persona. Jake fed Helen information about Candyman which both helped and hurt Helen. After he told her about the bathroom and the boy who died in it, she visited it and got hooked in the eye. Guy has made appearances on episodes of "Boston Public", "Crime Scene Investigation", "Baywatch", and even "Sister, Sister."

Home of the Cubs and White Sox, Chicago's highways were featured in the beginning of the movie while the creepy music played. It was also the home of Cabrini Green, the apartment complex where Anne-Marie lived.

Answer: through the mirror in the bathroom

All the apartments were the same layout, so they all had mirrors that were connected to the medicine cabinet on the other side in another apartment. Helen demonstrated this in the movie when she and Bernadette investigated the Cabrini Green apartments. Candyman actually did come through her mirror near the very end.

Answer: Its head was cut off.

Helen was asleep and when she woke up she was in Anne-Marie's house, covered in blood and holding a meat cleaver. Hearing Anne-Marie screaming, she walked down the hall and saw the dog. Anne-Marie screamed and attacked Helen because she thought Helen kidnapped Anthony. Then, the police arrived and arrested Helen.

Answer: He was having an affair.

She came home from the mental hospital and, as she walked into the living room, she saw Trevor's girlfriend painting a wall and calling for him. Trevor came into the room and noticed Helen. Helen's words were barely audible, but she was clearly angry.

At the very end of the movie, after Helen made the deal with Candyman to give Anthony back to his mother, she realized Candyman didn't keep his end of the bargain. Anthony was really in the metal scraps pile which was set to burn! Helen climbed up the pile and worked her way to the little baby, but Candyman was there too! He set Jake's torch ablaze and the scraps started to burn.

Helen was chased by Candyman to get out of the pile and made it out with Anthony still in her arms. Her hair was burnt off and she was barely alive, and Anne-Marie took him from her. Candyman died in the blaze.

Cabrini Green was in the middle of the ghetto as we saw from Helen's and Bernadette's excursion there. The building was laden with graffiti and about to fall apart, which was probably why demolition began in September of 1995, three years after "Candyman"'s debut.

Trevor died in the end calling Helen's name five times. Instead of Candyman coming back to gut him, she came back with Candyman's hook, (buried with her) so Trevor was not killed by Candyman. Trevor was a professor at Illinois University and Helen's husband.

There were hints of his cheating dropped in the beginning when Helen talked to him after one of his classes and a girl came up to him. He was played by Xander Berkeley. Bernadette was killed when she came to visit Helen and the Candyman came through her mirror.

Helen died in the end after being burned in numerous places. Her therapist was gutted by Candyman.
