Sir Edgar didn't have a son, but he did have a nephew named Char, who was adored by almost everyone.

3. What was Olive's favorite color?

Answer: Purple

Olive's favorite color was purple and Hattie's favorite color was orange, as you saw in the movie.

4. Who or what was Benny?

Answer: A man who was turned in to a book

Benny was a man who was changed into a book. At the end he was changed back into a man again and helped Ella and Char fight the soldiers who were trying to capture Ella.

Since Char was the son of the real king, this meant that he had a right to the throne. Edgar wanted Char murdered so he could still be king and then no one could take the throne away from him. He killed his own brother for the same reason...the throne.
