"She's the Man" Or Is She? Trivia Quiz

Answer: Monique pretended to be Sebastian.

It was Viola who pretended to be Sebastian. It was her attempt to show the boys' soccer team at Cornwall that a girl could play to the boys' standard.

During this little scheme, Viola also managed to set her brother, Sebastian, up with the girl of his dreams, Olivia, as Olivia got a crush on the fake Sebastian.

Duke had trouble talking to girls, especially girls he really liked, which led his crush on Olivia to only being a crush. Meanwhile Duke had no problem talking to guys, so when Viola was pretending to be a guy, she really got to know Duke for who he really was.

As Viola got to spend a lot of time with Duke as her roommate, Viola started falling in love with him. Viola started working to get Duke away from Olivia. While being disguised as Sebastian she tried to set Duke up with herself and make him interested in her instead of Olivia.

Answer: Boys were more flexible

After Cornwall cut the girls soccer team, the girls demanded to try out for the boys' team, which all the boys (including the coach) laughed at. Cornwall discriminated based on gender.

Answer: Duke would help "Sebastian" with soccer.

Duke was getting desperate about Olivia and too shy to talk to girls. After three years, she still didn't pay him much attention. When "Sebastian" got Olivia as a lab partner, Duke made "him" a deal. The deal Duke made with "Sebastian" turned against him, when it let to Olivia getting a crush on "Sebastian".

Answer: Sebastian left her a message saying he was in London.

Monique was furious with "Sebastian" after Viola dumped her. "No relationship is over until I say it is," as she said herself.

After she heard Sebastian's message she teamed up with Malcolm in order to reveal Viola.

As the real Sebastian didn't know about the whole thing with Viola taking his place at Illyria, he also didn't know that his sister had dumped his girlfriend for him. Viola had previously talked to Sebastian before he went to London about why he was with Monique when she was so horrible. On his way back from London, he left Monique a message on her answering machine saying that he was in London and he didn't think that they should go out anymore.

Answer: Monique would probably be there and could teach Viola the whole debutante thing.

As Viola had planned to pose as her brother at her brother's school, she needed an excuse to leave the house for two weeks and her mother was dying to see her becoming a debutante. This was what Sebastian called "the beauty of divorce", to be able to tell their mother that they stayed with their father and vice versa so they could be at a third place. Sebastian used this to go to London and Viola used it to go to Illyria as Sebastian.

Making her mother think she was interested in being a debutante caused a lot of trouble for Viola. She had to be at the carnival as both Sebastian (as the real Sebastian was in London) and herself, and she had to go to "debutante class" which Olivia also attended.

Answer: "I beg your pardon?"

It was Duke who responded with "This is too weird".

This happened during the final soccer scene in the second half after "Sebastian" and Duke started fighting. Viola couldn't handle being two people anymore and revealed her true identity in front of the whole school. As Viola's line came before she revealed her true identity, Olivia (who was in love with the fake Sebastian) found this to be really weird.

Answer: Dinosaurs

This was when Viola (disgused as Sebastian) was called into the principal's office to be welcomed to the school. Viola thought she had been called to the office because her cover had been blown.

Principal Gold was known for being weirdly happy.

Answer: Eunice

Eunice was the school's weird girl. As Eunice didn't have a roommate, Viola spent the night in her dorm. Unfortunately, Eunice didn't wake Viola the next morning, which was the morning the big soccer game between Cornwall and Illyria was being played. According to Eunice, Viola slept "so serene".

This almost caused Viola's plan to fail as she missed the first half of the soccer game and the real Sebastian had come back from London and had played the first half terribly. Luckily, she was allowed to play the second half.

Answer: "Sebastian" dumping Monique at Cesario's

Duke, Andrew and Toby didn't have the best first impression of "Sebastian". They thought "he" was a huge dork, which came from "him" using a tampon to stop nosebleeds and being kind of small (amongst other things).

To help "Sebastian" with "his" social life, Paul came up with a plan. Kia and Yvonne had to pose as "Sebastian" admirers to make "Sebastian" seem like a big stud at Cornwall. Afterwards, Monique came in and thought Viola was the real Sebastian. Viola, disguised as Sebastian, dumped Monique in front of everybody at Cesario's. This led the guys to change their opinion about "Sebastian". The very next day, girls were adoring "him" and guys were asking "him" for advice about girls.

Answer: Andrew and Monique

Andrew hit on Monique earlier on in the dumping scene at Cesario's but got quite a rejection. Her response was, "Ew, what are you hitting on me? Girls with asses like mine don't date boys with faces like yours," which caused both Duke and Toby to burst with laughter.

During the whole movie, Toby had a crush on Eunice but didn't act on it because she was seen as very uncool. Throughout the movie, Olivia had a crush on the fake Sebastian which didn't change when she met the real Sebastian and the real Sebastian saw Olivia as "the girl of his dreams". Sebastian and Olivia and Toby and Eunice were seen officially getting together after the soccer game.

Duke showed up just before the debutante ball to declare his love for Viola. To use his own words, he missed his roommate.
