After the opening scene with the one truck driver getting arrested for bootlegging in Georgia, Big and Little Enos are riding through the rodeo fairgrounds in their Cadillac. Little Enos is not so sure of his daddy's scheme to get the Bandit to do this run for them. He says "I don't think he's gonna go for your game." Big Enos then says "Son, the thing about the Bandit is he'll try anything; legal or not."

As Big and Little Enos approach the Bandit, they find him snoozing behind his rig. Big Enos says to the Bandit "Bandit. Me and my son are here." Bandit wakes up and looks at the two guys. He laughs at the sight of them and says, Oh, it must be a ... getting a size 68 extra fat. And a 12 dwarf." Big Enos ignores the jab and talks to Bandit about the challenge ahead of him. Bandit accepts and starts working out the details.

Bandit shows up at the home of Cletis "Snowman" Snow. He goes into Snowman's bedroom where Cletis is sleeping inverted on his bed. Bandit explains to him that they have a chance to make a run for some big cash. Cletis, half asleep, sarcastically asks "Oh yeah? Whadda we gonna do? Kidnap the Pope or somethin'?" Bandit jabs back with "How d'ya guess? No, we are just going over to Texarkana, Texas, pick up a load of Coors and bring it back in 28 hours. Cletis warns him that it's called bottleggin' and that's against the law. Bandit doesn't care and is not even paying attention to Cletis's warning.

As Bandit and Snowman are making their way back from Texarkana, Bandit sees a bride in a wedding dress standing in the middle of the road, flagging him down. He looks at her and says "Sorry, I'm not getting' married." She remarks "That makes two of us. Can you unzip me?" After Bandit unzips her dress, she asks him "Can this thing move?" He says, Oh yeah!" and burns rubber down the road.

After Bandit and Frog take off down the road, a gang of car vandals swarms upon Frog's disabled Impala. Sheriff Justice comes up to them and kicks one of them and says "Now, that's an attention getter." He proceeds to get as much information about the Bandit's car as he can.

Afterwards, he tells the guys "Don't go home. And don't go to eat... It wouldn't look right on my highway." He then takes off in pursuit of the Bandit. As he leaves, one of the guys says "Hey man, let's get outta here." The other guy is scared to death and says "You do what you want. I'm stayin' right here."

While Bandit and Frog are tooling down the road, Frog is in the process of wriggling out of her wedding dress and getting into jeans and a T-shirt. Snowman sees this from behind Bandit and asks "Is she wearing a wedding dress?" At that precise moment, Frog throws her dress out the T-top. Bandit says "She was!" Snowman answers "What she wearin' now? Come back!" Bandit laughs at the implication as Snowman calls back "You got peanut butter or somethin' in your ears? Tell me what that woman's got on.

Because Bandit gets diverted because of a county mounty in Arkansas, he is now about four miles behind Snowman. As he is making ground up, Sheriff justice approaches him from behind and says "Breaker, breaker to the Bandit." Bandit answers the break and says "You got the Bandit. Who have I got at that end?" Justice says "You got trouble comin'!" Bandit answers, "What's your handle and what's your 20?" Justice answers back with "My name is Smokey Bear and I'm tailin' you right now!" Bandit turns and looks out the window in shock. "Gosh darn, what's a Texas county mounty doin' in Arkansas?" Frog is unsure. Bandit says they will have to see what is under the sheriff's hood.

He throws it in high gear and takes off saying "Bye, Bye, Baby."

Answer: Sheriff Branford

While Sheriff Branford and his boys catch sight and begin their pursuit of the Bandit, his young charge in the car with him is a little too eager and excited. He wants the cop ahead of him to get out of the way so he can catch him. Branford sarcastically asks "Where, in the woods? Listen, I don't care if your daddy is the mayor. You wreck this car, it'll come outta yo pay." The young cop says the Bandit is getting away. Branford informs him the bridge is out ahead.

In the meantime, Bandit has jumped the bridge.

The cop ahead lands right in the creek. Branford and his young charge nearly go off the bridge with just the rear tires hanging onto the bridge. With that, Justice runs into the back of the car and knocks it off the bridge. The young charge gets out and says "Honest to God, Sheriff, I stopped!"

Bandit stops off to get a bite to eat and supposedly gets rid of Frog. As he is sitting there drinking an ice tea, Sheriff Justice walks in and puts in his order. He then goes to the door and asks "You want somethin'?" Junior says "Hush puppies, Daddy." Justice, a bit frailed, says "We ain't got time for that." As he comes back in, he mutters a few choice words.

Frog is in command now of the car. As she makes a turn, she cuts off several cars in a funeral procession. Bandit jumps in the passenger seat in fear and says "What the heck was that?" Frog answers "A left. Or half a U." Bandit says "Well, please don't do it anymore!" One of the men in the hearse sees that it is the Bandit and says they will hold the sheriff as long as they can.
