Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Lieutenant Wolf is a Navy Seal with a mission! Although he and his men have been through very trying circumstances, he expects nothing less than the best! Who, among these, is the man they must rescue from an enemy boat where he is being held hostage by a group of Serbian rebels?

Answer: Professor Howard Plummer

In the beginning of the movie, Lieutenant Wolfe is assigned to save Howard Plummer, a top government professor who has been kidnapped by a group of Serbian rebels. Lieutenant Wolfe knows his men have been without sleep for three days but Wolfe reminds them "We are Navy Seals.

This is what we do." Their mission is to fight the rebels off an enemy boat, find the Professor, and secure the Professor's work. Lieutenant Wolfe succeeds in getting the professor, but when Wolfe tries to get the professor to board the plane, he stops to call his wife.

The Professor and Wolfe are shot; the professor dies and Wolfe spends two months in the hospital.
2. As an officer, Lieutenant Wolfe accepts full responsibility when he is released from the hospital, after being wounded when the rescue mission failed. His next task is not an ordinary assignment. What does his commanding officer assign him to do?

Answer: protect the professor's wife and five children

When Lieutenant Wolfe is released from the hospital he tells his superior officer, Captain Bill Fawcett, that he takes full responsibility for what happened. Captain Fawcett brings up the sensitive topic that Lieutenant Wolfe is like his father. Captain Fawcett puts him on a mission to watch over the five Plummer kids and their mother until the Professor's program, GHOST, is found.

In the meantime, Mrs. Plummer will be at Navy headquarters helping them unlock the Professor's work.
3. Lieutenant Wolfe is a tough soldier but his arrival at the Plummers' house does not start off well. Which one of these does NOT happen?

Answer: He is attacked by the neighbors for littering.

Lieutenant Wolfe arrives soaking wet at the door after stepping on a troll toy and being unprepared when the sprinkler system goes off. Lulu answers the door and runs off screaming when she sees the gigantic man standing there. Mrs. Plummer apologizes and introduces Wolfe to the family and Helga, the children's Romanian nanny. Wolfe assures Mrs. Plummer that he is capable of protecting them but is interrupted when the duck attacks him.

The duck thinks he is a guard dog. Wolfe excuses himself and begins to set up security cameras around the house.
4. Mrs. Plummer has to leave to help the Navy with her husband's work. Lieutenant Wolfe is left in charge of the children. Respecting Lieutenant Wolfe's military background, the children and Helga all follow his commands from the start.

Answer: False

From the beginning the children do not respect Lieutenant Wolfe at all. Wolfe is surprised that the children are undisciplined and unmannered. He calls a surprise meeting at 6 a.m. to establish his rules. In the process he throws Seth out of bed by turning over his mattress.

His number one rule is that all things are done his way, no highway options. The teenagers Seth and Zoe begin to plot ways to get rid of him. Lulu finds ways to get on Lieutenant Wolfe's nerves by asking him questions about his physical appearance.
5. Before she left Mrs. Plummer had told Lieutenant Wolfe that she did not want the children knowing why he was there to protect them. She was concerned about a prowler that had broken in to the house. Lieutenant Wolfe honors her wishes, but the children see his ways as annoying and unnecessary. What does Lieutenant Wolfe put on all the children so he knows how to track where they are at all times?

Answer: wrist band tracking devices

Lieutenant Wolfe does not tell the children until later that he is there to protect them from people trying to steal Professor Plummer's program, GHOST. Because Lieutenant Wolfe is concerned someone may try to hurt the children in order to steal Professor Plummer's work, he put tracking devices on all of them, including the baby. Seth does not put his on right away and when Seth does not appear in the line up, Wolfe breaks down Seth's door, thinking he is in trouble when Seth is in the bathroom. When Seth comes out he yells at Wolfe and is in shock at that Wolfe has broken his door in half. Wolfe tells him it wouldn't have happened if he had the tracking device on.
6. In the children's attempts to get rid of Lieutenant Wolfe they run off their nanny Helga. Wolfe does not know how to prepare meals, change diapers, or keep up with the children's activities. He starts his first day off alone by giving the children military packaged meals. Who calls Lieutenant Wolfe at breakfast, warning him that if Seth and Zoe are late for school they will be suspended?

Answer: Vice Principal Murney

Vice Principal Murney calls Wolfe at breakfast and tells him if Zoe and Seth are late they will be suspended. Wolfe loads up the babies in baby carriers and puts diapers and bottles into his security belt. Wolfe is not sure what to do when he sees the family car which is a minivan. Lulu antagonizes the situation by assuring her older brother and sister that they will be suspended for sure when Wolfe can not figure out how to strap in the baby's car seat. Wolfe proves them wrong though with his super fast driving.

He brings all the children into Vice Principal Murney's office where Murney is waiting, timing their arrival with a stopwatch.
7. Lieutenant Wolfe has a hard time with the children. He is tricked when the children throw the tracking devices into the sewer, has to lead Lulu's Firefly Scouts, is shut off by Seth, and crashes a party where Zoe's friends trash the house. Zoe tells Lieutenant Wolfe to get out of their lives because they hate him. What is the turning point that changes the children's minds about Lieutenant Wolfe?

Answer: Wolfe saves them when ninjas break into their house looking for the GHOST program.

When the ninjas attack the house and Wolfe, the children tried to help Wolfe fight them off. Afterwards the children realize that there are people that actually want to hurt them to get their father's program. Wolfe asks them for a little more cooperation and agrees to listen to them if they listen to him. Wolfe teaches Lulu's scouts how to defend themselves with Kung Fu, helps Seth with acting, teaches Zoe how to drive, and even learns the Peter panda dance for Peter to help him go to sleep.
8. Seth's vice principal taunts him by calling him Creeper and bullies him to try to make him be a man. Seth finally stands up to Vice Principal Murney and tells him he doesn't want to wrestle because he wants to be an actor in "The Sound of Music". Murney calls Seth a quitter. How does Lieutenant Wolfe step in to show Seth the importance of standing up for himself?

Answer: Wolfe agrees to a wrestling match with Vice Principal Murney after school

Wolfe takes on Vice Principal Murney in a wrestling match. Murray comes out to the gym floor dressed in wrestling gear, and Wolfe is prepared to fight with only his normal teeshirt and clothes. Wolfe is winning from the start and Murney keeps trying to charge him unsuccessfully.

While overpowering his opponent, Wolfe gives some fighting lessons starting with "Rule #1: Never be too quick to rush your opponent." As Wolfe continually busts Murney's bluffs the crowd of students start cheering for him. Wolfe shows his favorite move which is the Pacifier and sticks Murray's fingers in his mouth. Seth gives the countdown and the wrestling team has to help a badly injured Murney off the gym floor.
9. Lieutenant Wolfe finally finds the professor's lab and notifies his superior officer. What happens when Captain Bill Fawcett comes to the house?

Answer: Wolfe discovers Captain Fawcett was working with the neighbors for the Korean government.

Lieutenant Wolfe finds the professor's secret laboratory with the help of Howard, the family duck. He notifies his superior officer, who arrives with Mrs. Plummer after they have found the correct password and key to the Professor's work. However Lieutenant Wolfe finds out that his superior officer, Captain Bill Fawcett, and the neighbors are actually working for the North Korean government.

They tie the children up and force Lieutenant Wolfe and Mrs. Plummer to give them the Professor's work. The children figure out a way to escape from the Koreans and help Wolfe.

They wake the unconscious Wolfe up by throwing milk on him. Wolfe proceeds to go save their mother while the children take the family minivan to find the police. Zoe's reckless driving to get away from the Koreans starts a policeman chase and Zoe has the idea of leading the police to the house. Mrs. Plummer is being forced to lead the Captain through the booby trap field to the Professor's GHOST program, however she doesn't know the password. Wolfe steps in and figures out the way to get safely through the trap field is by doing the Panda dance. Wolfe gets through the traps and fights his captain.

The kids arrive in time to bring the police. Their principal, who has come to check out the situation after seeing the police, helps Wolfe overcome the bad guys.
10. After his mission is finished, Lieutenant Wolfe goes back to the Navy and continues his career as a Navy Seal. He becomes an admiral in the Navy and directs several more dangerous missions. He is even honored by the President of the United States for his bravery.

Answer: False

Lieutenant Wolfe decides not to go back to his life as a Navy Seal. He is honorably discharged and settles down in the same town as the Plummer family. He assures the kids that he will never forget them, when they give him a picture of themselves to keep.

He dates the children's principal and becomes the new school wrestling coach. He also directs the small theater productions that Seth is involved in. Vice Principal Murney becomes an actor in the theater production Lieutenant Wolfe directs. Murney does an interesting job as a nun in "The Sound of Music".
