Hector was a prince of Troy, and also the commanding officer of the Trojan army. This was a moving speech that was meant to give the Trojans courage before their fight. The Trojans were fighting against the Greek army, because of Helen.

Answer: Briseis

A fight was about to break out, but Briseis said these words and stopped the fight from happening. She did not want another fight because so many men had already died that day. Agamemnon wanted to make Briseis his slave, so he'd had her taken from Achilles' tent. Achilles became angry, and drew his sword, ready to fight Agamemnon's men.
