Jean Grey's closing monologue is exactly the same as Professor Xavier's opening monologue in "X-Men" (2000). In the first movie Prof. X starts with that words as if giving us the basics of muatation and Jean Grey ends the second movie with exactly the same words as if putting an end to a stage but at the same time opening the door to a new one.

Although it's on the script and on the novelization, there are no scenes in the Danger Room, which is the space used in Xavier's School where mutants train and improve their abilities.

I find this weird since this shot is in the White House after Jean Grey disappeared in the flood of Alkali Lake. All the X-Men appear with their black leather uniforms only in the scene when they speak to President McKenna and Jean Grey isn't there.

Michael Kamen was the composer of the music for the first movie. John Ottman's style is much more different from Kamen's, resulting in a soundtrack full of orchestra while the first one was more techno. The sequence of the songs is a bit strange since they don't follow the order they have in the movie.
