Andy did indeed leave ani in Australia. She had no drummer and had to come up with one, fast. A replacement drummer was found in time for the next show, but was not kept on permanently. Shortly after, Daren Hahn joined the band. He is a very accomplished drummer, but has never achieved the level of chemistry with ani that Andy had.

2. Which comedian did ani tour with in late 2004?

For a limited number of shows, ani's "Vote Dammit" tour met up with Margaret Cho's "State of Emergency" tour in several of the swing states before the 2004 election.
