According to them, "Before the smash hit, Train was still a little-known band, struggling to make it big. But that wasn't their only problem-the lead singer's mother was dying from cancer around that time. One day, they recieved a phone call that she had passed away that morning.

The band stopped doing gigs for a while, while the lead singer took the time to heal from the pain of the loss. During that stage, he cleverly penned a new song that meant that if there was a Heaven, it would be kind of like space travel, to him.

The band made a recording of the song, titling it 'Drops Of Jupiter', and sent it to a big name record company and...well,...the rest is history." Thanks so much for that info!
