1. "You know the last ______ out of Sydney's almost gone Only seven flying hours, and I'll be landing in Hong Kong" How does the narrator plan to travel to Hong Kong?

Answer: Plane

"Khe Sanh" is a 1978 song off Australian pub rock band Cold Chisel's self titled debut album. The song tells the story of a disillusioned Vietnam veteran whose life is unsettled after his return home from active duty and his inability to adjust to normal life. A 2018 poll by Australian radio station Triple M ranked "Khe Sanh" as the "Number One Australian Song of All Time."

The lyric "Last plane out of Sydney..." refers to the noise curfew in place at Sydney Airport that restricts the takeoff and landing hours for planes that exceed a certain noise level, due to the airport being located in the residential Sydney suburb of Mascot. The curfew is in place between the hours of 11pm and 6am.
2. "My ______ does one-eighty-five I lost my license, now I don't drive." What brand of car is the narrator no longer allowed to drive?

Answer: Maserati

"Life's Been Good" is a 1978 song from American singer-songwriter Joe Walsh's album "But Seriously, Folks..." The song is a satire of the outrageous and self destructive behaviour of the era's biggest rock stars, including The Who's drummer Keith Moon, who was infamous for his destructive acts both on and off the stage, including blowing up drum kits during live performances.

An edited version of "Life's Been Good" (shortened from eight minutes down to four and a half) reached Number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, providing Walsh with the most successful single of his solo career.
3. "Cause baby I got plenty of that I love you for your pink ______ Crushed velvet seats Riding in the back" What brand of car does the narrator's girlfriend own?

Answer: Cadillac

"Pink Cadillac" is a 1984 B-side release by American singer-guitarist Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen originally recorded the track whilst recording the tracks that became his 1982 album "Nebraska." The song began as an acoustic track, but was left unfinished. Springsteen returned to the track in 1983 when he began recording demos for the album that became "Born in the USA." Although the track was omitted from the final track listing of "Born in the USA," "Pink Cadillac" was still released as the B-side to the song "Dancing in the Dark."

The song was notably covered by Natalie Cole in 1987 and released as a single from her album "Everlasting."
4. "Oh Lord, won't you buy me a ______? My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends." What brand of car does the narrator wish the Lord would buy her?

"Mercedes Benz" is a 1970 song recorded by American singer Janis Joplin. The song, recorded just three days before Joplin died, is an a cappella track sung without instrumental accompaniment. It was recorded in one take and is the last vocal work by Joplin that was completed in her lifetime. The song was released as a single off Joplin's final album, 1971's "Pearl."
5. "He's leaving (leavin) On that midnight ______ to Georgia (Leavin' on a midnight ______) Said he's goin' back" How does the narrator intend to travel to Georgia?

"Midnight Train to Georgia" is a 1973 single released by American Rhythm and Blues/Soul group Gladys Knight & the Pips. Recorded for the album "Imagination," the song won the 1974 Grammy Award for Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus (the first of three Grammys the group have received).

The song became a Number One hit on both the US Pop and US R&B Charts. It was the only single released by the group to top both charts. Although the group released a total of eight singles that topped the US R&B Chart, "Midnight Train to Georgia" was the only single the group released that also topped the US Pop Chart.

"Jet Airliner" is a 1973 song that was originally written and performed by American singer-songwriter Paul Pena. However, due to a dispute between Pena and his then record label, neither the song nor the album it was recorded for were released until 2000.

In the meantime, American musician Steve Miller heard the track and decided to record it with his band in 1977. Released off the album "Book of Dreams," it became a major hit for the band and is now a staple on classic rock radio to this day (often played in tandem with the synthesizer instrumental "Threshold").
7. "Let the ______ shine a light on me Let the ______ shine a light on me" What late night mode of transport is shining on the narrator?

Answer: Midnight Special

"Midnight Special" is a traditional folk song first published in 1905. The song is believed to have originated in American prisons. In 1934, legendary American folk singer and Blues guitarist Lead Belly recorded the song, using a combination of the original folk lyrics and lyrics from other songs he had heard whilst in prison. In 1969, American band Creedence Clearwater Revival recorded their version of the song, which became a classic. Released off their 1969 album "Willy and the Poor Boys" (the third of three albums released by the band that year), "Midnight Special" is considered among the band's best work.

The title "Midnight Special" is thought to be a reference to a train that ran past the prison where the song originated. The train would pass the prison late at night and its lights would shine into the prison, acting as a reminder of the outside world to the prisoners who saw it.

The song was written by lead singer Roger Hodgson approximately a decade before the song was recorded by Supertramp.

The song was a failure in the US, peaking at Number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100, but reached Number Nine on the UK Singles Chart.

"Movin' Out" was released as the second single off "The Stranger" and peaked at Number 17 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

American guitarist Mike Campbell (best known for his work with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) composed the music to "The Boys of Summer" and offered it to Petty for the Heartbreakers' sixth studio album "Southern Accents." Petty rejected it and instead it was offered to Henley, who wrote the lyrics and turned it into his second US Billboard Hot 100 Top Ten single (following 1982's Number Three "Dirty Laundry.").

The music video for "The Boys of Summer" earned Henley the "Video of the Year" award at the 1985 MTV Video Music Awards.
