Judges 3:15-17. Funny how God uses a man's weakness toward His strengths. Ehud's left-handedness is considered to be a weakness by most. Eglon's fatness proved to have a purpose in this story as well.

Answer: He stabbed him in his belly with a homemade dagger

Judges 3:18-26. Ehud sought to kill King Eglon to start Israel's rebellion against Moab. He did give a tribute to King Eglon. Then, he sent away those who went with him. He said that he had a secret message for the king. Eglon sent everyone but Ehud outside.

The message was no message, it was a dagger that Ehud made himself, concealed under his clothes on his right leg in a scabbard. He drew it, then stabbed the king in the belly.

Answer: The fat of King Eglon swallowed the blade up.

Judges 3:22. Ehud stabbed Eglon so hard that his bowels discharged. Then Ehud led an army against Moab. Together, they slew 10,000 Moabites, and Ehud reigned for 80 years of peace.

Judges 14:19. At Samson's wedding, Samson made a bet saying that if the 30 companions could solve his riddle, he would give them one set of clothes apiece. He based the riddle off of his encounter with a lion on his way to visit his fiancée. The riddle was, "Out of the eater, came forth meat: Out of the strong, came forth sweetness." The companions could not figure out the answer.

They told Samson's fiancée to seduce Samson into giving her the answer, but if she refused to do it, they would burn her house down with fire.

Then the seventh day of the feast came. The companions figured out the riddle saying, "What is sweeter than honey, what is stronger than a lion?" Samson was angry, yet he honored the bet. Later, he took 300 foxes, tied them tail to tail, put torches between the tails and sent them into Philistine crops to burn them all.
25. What were Samson's last words?

Answer: Let me die with the Philistines

Judges 16:30. After Samson was tricked into revealing the secret to his powers by Delilah, he was blinded and taken away by the Philistines. While at a party at Dagon's temple, the guests wanted to see the weakened Samson so they could make fun of him. Samson was brought to the main pillars of the temple, one on his left, one on his right.

Then Samson prayed to God for one last time to get revenge on his enemies for taking his eyes, and bringing Israel away from their rule. Then Samson said these words, pushed the pillars with all his might, and broke down the house killing himself; with him more Philistines were killed at his death than his whole lifetime.

He led Israel for 20 years.
