Of course this was the year Don Larsen pitched his perfect game in the World Series. The Yankees won this series in 7 games, and Larsen pitched his perfect game in Game 5.

Answer: Ralph Branca

Branca came into the game in relief in the bottom of ninth inning. He was known for choking in the clutch. He gave up the homer on a low fastball.

Answer: False

It was in 1998, and it was Wells, but it wasn't the Indians. It was against the Minnesota Twins. Wells was in his 12th season as a Yankee, and he ended up winning the 1998 ALCS MVP award.
9. Who played at Griffith Stadium?

Answer: Washington Senators

The Senators played at Griffith the frist time they were created. They started playing there in 1911.
10. Who won the World Series in 1994?

Answer: Nobody

This was a strike year, there was no World Series played.
