The Denver Broncos won two Super Bowls in the 1990s - in 1997 when they beat the Green Bay Packers 31-24 and in 1998 when they beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-19. Both games saw a Bronco voted as MVP - Terrell Davis in 1997 and John Elway in 1998.

7. Interestingly, the weight of a standard male shot put and the weight of the ball used by most professional bowlers is the same. What is this weight which is a little more than the imperial unit of mass known as a stone?

Answer: 16 pounds (7.26 kg)

The shot put has been a part of the Summer Olympics for men since 1896 and for women since 1948. One of the most famous shot put athletes was Randy Barnes who set a world record with a put of 75.9 feet (23.12 meters) in 1990. Technically bowling balls have no lower limit for weight but they cannot exceed 16 pounds. Most professionals use a 16 pound ball, rather than a 15 pound ball, as the higher mass creates greater pin action.
