Answer: Rocky Marciano

At the time of his retirement, Marciano's record stood at 49-0.
2. Also known as "The Greatest", what was Muhammad Ali's original nickname?

Answer: The Louisville Lip

Ali took up boxing as a 12 year old to "beat the kid who stole my bike" as he put it. His confident persona quickly earned him the nickname of the Louisville lip.
3. Who beat Jess Willard to win the Heavyweight crown in 1919?

Answer: Jack Dempsey

July 4th, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio. Before the fight, Willard had a document drawn up by the local sheriff to say that he would not be responsible for murder, should he actually kill Dempsey. Willard finished up with a smashed cheekbone and several broken ribs.

The German public did not know the outcome of the fight until they read the papers the next morning. Louis won by knockout in the first round.
