Johnson won the title from Tommy Burns (5' 7") on December 26, 1908. He lost it to Jess Willard (6'6") on April 5, 1915.
2. Which of these boxers was the oldest man ever to win the heavyweight title?

Answer: George Foreman

George Foreman (dob January 10, 1949) won the title from Michael Moorer on November 5, 1994 at the age of 45.
3. Who was the first Californian ever to win the title?

Answer: Jim Corbett

Jim Corbett won the title in 1892. He was born in San Francisco. Jim Jefferies was the only other Californian to win, however he did not win until 1899.

Max Schmeling was born in Germany, and won the title in 1930. Primo Carnera was Italian, and won the title in 1933. Johansson was Swedish, and won the title in 1959. Luis Firpo was from Argentina! Carpentier, though French, NEVER won the heavyweight title. Uzcudun - a Spaniard - never won the title either.
9. How old was Mike Tyson when he won his first WBC title?

Answer: 20 years, 3 months

Mike beat Trevor Berbick on November 22, 1986, for the WBC title.
10. Which reigning Light-Heavyweight Champion once won the Heavyweight crown?

Answer: Michael Spinks

Billy Conn was light heavyweight champion, but abandoned the title to campaign for the heavyweight crown. Bob Fitzsimmons also was light heavyweight champ, but got that title only after losing the heavyweight title.
