Answer: blue line

You can't carry the ring over the blue line, you have to pass it. The red line is the line across the center of the ice. The goal line is at the end of the ice across the net. The ringette line is the line that goes across the top of the circles. You can carry the ring across all but the blue line.

2. How does the game of ringette start?

Answer: The visiting team gets possession of the ring in the center circle

At the start of the first period, the visiting team starts with possession and in the second period, the home team starts with possession. In the event of a shootout, the referee flips a coin and the captain of each team participates. The winner will get possession at the start of the first overtime and the loser will start with possession at the start of the second overtime.
