Answer: Landon Turner

Turner was still a presence at IU basketball games. He attended games regularly and seemed to have recovered and even thrived after the accident. It was a great gesture and display of respect for Turner's spirit and talent from Red Auerbach.
10. After becoming a celebrity in Indiana for being mentioned in the book, "Season on the Brink", as an eighth grader, this player led his Bedford North-Lawrence Stars to a state title. Who was this phenom that took on the challenge of wearing the cream and crimson, after the most storied career in Indiana high school basketball history?

Answer: Damon Bailey

Bailey had enourmous pressure on him to succeed at IU. He was a part of 108 IU victories, including 11 NCAA tournament victories, and one final four team in 1992. He never played in the NBA, but is truly a legend in Indiana.
