Answer: From Holbæk to Hellerup

Sten Skovgaard, his wife, Hanne, and their daughter, Freja, lived in Holbæk when his sister, Majse, married her fiancé, Jan Erik, whom lived in Hellerup. Jan Erik's father owned a billion kroner (Danish money) firm and when he decided to leave his post of director he offered it to Sten. Which was what led Sten Skovgaard and his family to move to Hellerup.

Answer: She kept it hostage until he agreed to adopt her sister's baby.

Majse is the motherly type. Her biggest wish is to become a mother but her 10-year older husband, Jan Erik, already has a 17-year old daughter, Mercedes, from a previous marriage and doesn't want anymore children. But when Majse's sister Charlotte gets pregnant and decides she doesn't want the baby, she asks Majse if she wants it. Majse then gets very determined to adopt the baby because she is unable to produce children.

Majse does pay Kevin to stay away from Mercedes but that is only a small amount compared to the 48 million that she is in possession of.

Benedikte Von Bech is married to Karl Erik Von Bech and together they have two sons, Jan Erik and Jens Erik. The Von Bechs are very wealthy and are like the royalties of Hellerup. For Benedikte everything is about appearance and the way she sees it is that a gay relationship would hurt her family's reputation.

Answer: Paris Hilton

The first time Freja and Mercedes meet each other, they come from very different places. Freja is a perfect daughter. She gets the highest grades, wears braces, dresses appropriately and never does anything her parents doesn't want her too. Mercedes on the other hand is a spoiled, rich girl. She drinks and has done drugs.

The very first thing Freja says about Mercedes is: "Hun ligner Paris Hilton" which, translated to English is: "She looks like Paris Hilton."

Answer: Kevin was Simon's drug dealer from when they both lived in Køge

Simon was Mercedes' boyfriend at the very beginning of the show but then they broke up. Later in the show, Kevin is dating Mercedes. They knew each other back from when they both lived in Køge. When they first meet up in Hellerup they pretend, around others, not to know each other, For different reasons: Simon, because he didn't want people to know he used to be a drug addict. Kevin, because he didn't want Mercedes to know that he is a drug dealer as he is very interested in her family's fortune.

Answer: Lars

Lars Fromberg used to seduce older, rich women and take money for it. When her husband found out about her affair, Benedikte said that he was leaving soon and everything would be back to normal. Karl Erik asked why she was going away with Lars. She just answered with "Because of everything they had together." Karl Erik got mad and said that she should have said that she stayed because she loved him.

Answer: She took a drug-overdose

Moving to Hellerup really 'ruined' Freja. When moving to Hellerup at the beginning of the season, she was this perfect daughter, later she started drinking and taking cocaine. When Kevin moved from Køge to Hellerup, Simon started sniffing cocaine again and later so did Freja. Toward the end of the season, Kevin sold her some mixed drugs, which put her in a coma for a couple of days.

Answer: Sten has been accused of possession of drugs

When Kevin came to Hellerup, Simon owed him over 50,000 Kr for drugs from when he lived in Køge. Kevin had been called to Hellerup by Jan Erik to ruin Sten's business. Kevin then told Simon that he wouldn't have to think about the debt if he just put a bag of cocaine in Sten's suitcase.

Answer: Threatens them

Jan Erik just has a way of finding stuff out about everybody is. One of the investors is having an affair and another is abusing little boys.

Answer: Jan Erik get shot

Jan Erik is sitting at his kitchen table getting drunk when we hear the front door open and see someone holding a gun. The shooter is not shown, but we find out in season 2 that it was Jan Erik's friend, Gert Riis Borg, who shot him.
