Answer: Florence Banner

Having shown up at the theatre during Nan's rehearsal, Kitty went to the evening performance, as did Florence. At the end of the show Nan had to choose a young girl from the audience to give a rose to. Nan seemed torn between her first love/infatuation and the woman she had come to love, trust and rely on. Nan made the right decision and threw the rose to Florence. Kitty left the theatre looking very unhappy.
