"Archie Bunker's Place" is considered to be a spin-off although the show just basically continued "All in the Family". "Gloria" was about Gloria's new life after divorcing Michael and "704 Hauser Street" is about a new family in the Bunker's house. In addition to the many spin-offs of "All in the Family" there were two spin-offs FROM spinoffs of "All in the Family". "Good Times" was a spin-off of "Maude" and "Checking In" was a spin-off of "The Jeffersons".

The first episode of the series is titled "Meet the Bunkers". In this episode, Gloria, played by Sally Struthers, is married to Mike, played by Rob Reiner, who is Polish. This was the family America stayed with for 9 seasons.
